Beauty Product Reviews
Price is right
I am actually really glad to have stumbled upon this. For under $5 you really can't go wrong. Works just as well as my Optical Illusion by Urban Decay at a fraction of the cost. 4 stars because my search for the perfect blurring primer continues. I have fair combo skin with major enlarged pore issues as well as early signs of aging. Worth the $ tho! Foundation lasts longer with this vs bare skin. 👍🏻
Meh.
Saw the infomercial and was sucked in. I have fair combo skin and use bb's and cc's exclusively. I think I expected this to magically make me airbrushed and it worked as well as my other similar go-to's (tarte/bareMinerals/etc) 4 stars because it works just fine, but not worth the hype in my opinion. The laundry list of ingredients is also a bit of a turn off for me. Has a lemon-y fresh scent that reminds me of skincare but no noticeable complexion improvement results.
Yaasss!
There's a reason why all the pro mua's and gurus rave about this. Why spend $40, or even $20 on translucent setting powder from big name brands when this is $12 for 3oz?! I can only speak from personal experience (fair combo skin, sheer to medium coverage foundation preferences) but this stuff is bomb. I will stick with this. It does just as good a job as any other I've tried. Price and results are on point!
Good, but not a miracle
Admittedly, I was totally convinced by the infomercials. I thought for certain that this was going to give me the ultimate perfect, flawless, finish. I think I had unrealistic expectations (LOL) Overall, I am pleased with it but it is comparable to my other four or five BB and CC's that I use interchangeably. Only thing I do not like is the laundry list of ingredients.
Eh
3 stars because it seems like decent quality but honestly it's not slim enough to depot palettes OR single shadow pots in my opinion. Keeping it as a tool for other things because it's too expensive to throw away and not expensive enough to bother returning. It's cute with the oil slick coloring and I give props for the idea but I've depotted everything I own with a steak knife and a skinny poker twig that I found in a drawer.
