Beauty Product Reviews
Wish the colors in the pan were the colors on my eyes!
I bought this palette at Sephora having just swatched them on the back of my hand. The colors looked like richly pigmented, "black-dipped" colors as the description implyed. However, when it came time to try them out on my eyes, they all looked plain black. Granted, I am extremely fair (NC15 in the summer, HA!) but I was a little disappoint. Of course the formula on these is amazing so I will continue to use them in my black smoky eye looks but I really was hoping for more versatility. I will say that if you are looking for the best matte black shadow, look no further than Black Dog, you could use that shadow as liner its so pigmented!
Amazing Deal, Get Them While They Last!
I missed these on Hautelook (everything I want always sells out before I log in!) but Urban Decay had the same deal. I use these as eyeliners for smokey looks and they also work great as eye shadow bases. A use I have found for Sin is as a brightener on my waterline. If you are prone to sensitivity I would not advise trying it until you look at the ingredients, but for me it is fantastic! It opens up my eyes without that obvious white eyeliner look. I love the colors in the set and I would love to try more of these shadow pencils.
I reach for this everyday!
I bought this palette over six months ago, and I have consistently reached for it for everyday looks. My go-to color are Virgin and Naked. Virgin is a beautiful inner corner color. I also use it as a brow highlight. Naked is perfect for blending out my outer V, it is also a great all over the lid color. I love all the colors in this palette. The only thing you have to be careful of is the chunky glitters, they can have quite a bit of fallout.
