To me this is the star of the line sofar.
I have very sensitive, eczema prone skin and I have to be very careful what products I use. This product works beautifully. I use it at night after I use the hyaluronic serum from the same line. It sinks right into the skin, does not leave the skin tacky or anything uncomfortable. I top it of wiht a moisturizer and next morning I wake up with plump, happy skin. Love it! I hope there will be a ceramide serum soon that is safe to be used around the eyes. As my eczema is always worst around my eyes & ceramides are great for the skin barrier.
Perfection
I use this every day for my highlighter. It is just perfect for that . Perfect size, density, softness of bristles. Just buy it.
Did not expect to love this as much as I do!
I used so many powders before, loose & compacts but this one price/quality wise, blows them all away. I prefer it over my Chanel poudre universelle. Doesn't change the color of the base, is very finely milled & mattifies t-zone perfectly. Packaging is not great, I put it in another sifter jar. Will repurchase when finished.
Works very well. Especially for foundation brushes not sure if soft enough for squirrel.
I love how well & easily it cleanses the brushes. I have eczema so I want brushes to be always clean when I use them, not to trigger anything. It works wonders with dirty brushes. Wet your brush, give a few swirls in the pot and lather them on your hands. Clean & fresh. But I don't know if it is soft enought for delicate squirrel brushes. So I clean those still with gentlest shampoo. I have lemon scent. Nice, not overwhelming.
Perfect, some I will buy doubles of
I ordered this set immediately when it came out and have been using it for a few months now. I use them every day & comparied them with other (Sonia G) brushes. When the set arrives some of the brushes feel a bit 'stiff'. That disappears after a few washes. The brushes are all very soft & directional. I have very delicate skin on my eye area and I only use either squirrel brushes or Sonia G goat brushes. My take on all the brushes:
Builder Pro: great brush. Did not love builder 2. Too thick for my liking, not precise enough for placing glitters. This one is perfect. Packs on eyeshadow & glitters very nicely, is thin & precise, perfect size. Will buy a backup.
Worker Pro: Works very well for placing the eyeshadow on the lid, but also for blending it out. Much thinner & smaller as Worker 1 & 2. A great staple brush. Different in use as the original Workers. It is more an improved Mac 217.
Pencil pro: Just as soft as the squirrel pencil one. But that one is more pointy, where this one is more round. Because it is goat it is more versatile as pencil one. Both are must haves imho.
Crease pro: Very densily packed & directional yet very soft. Never flimsy. Love the tapered point making it possible to diffuse crease area precisely. Density & softness make it a great blender for delicate eyes
Blender pro: The star of the set to me. So soft & perfect. Does not splay out too much. Love also the fact it is not white. Best out there for transition colors. This one I MUST have back ups of.
You need at least 1 of Sonia's builder brushes
The only brush by Sonia I don't love dearly. Not because it is not good. It just does not do it for me. I hardly ever reach for it. Too chunky for precise placement. It does not pick up difficult textures up better than her other brushes imho. It is nice, but not one I would replace if I lost it. Unlike most of her other brushes. I prefer her builder pro. I think I will buy a back up of that one if it is sold separately
A beautiful workhorse
This gem is used every day. To apply contour/bronzer and after I applied blush to blend it all together seamlessly. Not too wide, just right. I have bought this brush several months ago. I like to wait with brush reviews till I used them for a longer period of time. And this brush is 100% a must have. It is a workhorse. Get it.
A must have
With this brush alone you could do your whole eye look. Just by positioning it differently. But it not only places, blends, diffuses perfectly, it is also heavenly soft. And stunningly beautiful. I will buy a back up when worker two returns. Yes these brushes are expensive. But worth every penny. They are highly effective, soft and beautiful. Many days I use no other brushes for my eye look that Worker One and Crease one. Both are must haves imho.
Absolute top brush
If I could take only 2 eye brushes with me it would be Sonia G. crease one and her worker brush. Both are not only heavenly soft but also very effective in placing, blending the eyeshadow. Ofcourse they are also very beautiful but functionality matters most and these 2 have it all. Just buy them. You won't regret it.
