Sepia is a perfect mauve tone for me

I previously went through many Liar lip pencils from Urban Decay. I still use it, but Sepia is very similar and cheaper. This pencil is smaller though. It doesn't bleed out of my lip lines. I have still been wearing lipstick under my good old face mask and of course some product will get on the mask and maybe your face but this stays on for the most part. I use a Fenty or Anastasia liquid lip with it. Top with some gloss so it doesn't feel so dried out within a few hours.

Too bad these reviews aren't separated from the old version's ones. People will see the bad reviews from the old formula and probably won't try. This definitely wears much better so far. No cracking or crumbling. I loved the color Celebrity Skin so I was hoping for a change in this formula(still shouldn't have taken so long-came out way before covid). I took a star away though because I can see still going through this very fast. Not sure if I will repurchase. I already had to sharpen a few times. It could be a longer pencil for the price. I'm fair skinned and this is a great nude liner for me and pairs with (too) many nude lipsticks I own. Today it is in the company of Manny Mua's Moon lipgloss. Waiting for the drama to begin on my lips. Lol.

Better than I expected

After buying his horrible lipliner, I was on the fence about the gloss. But I do like my liquid lipstick from him so I went ahead and bought the gloss and my sister wanted 2 of them as well. I do like it a lot. The color is very pretty. I'm fair skinned. I wore it on top of Kim K's lipliner in Nude 1 and Jeffrey Star's liquid lip in I'm Nude and it looked nice together. I think the cap is gaudy though and $18 is a little too much. That's why I knocked off a star. I'll probably buy 1 again in the future.

Broke twice already

I received this today. I took it out to swatch it, tip broke right off. Ok, so I sharpen it and try to apply it again...broke! I love the color of this liner and the packaging, but for the money, this is disappointing and terrible. Especially as much as J.S criticizes others' products. I hope all the liners aren't going to have this issue. I wanted to love this.
