Beauty Product Reviews
Long Lasting
This is my first time with this line. I'm not a fan of liquid lipsticks, usually, and do not care for my shades on my lips. I have very dry, thin skinned lips so products are usually drying to me. This is also dry. But what I like is that it doesn't come off as easily as other lipsticks. I wear lipstick every day and am usually reapplying constantly after eating. This one stays on a lot better than most. They need to make a clear gloss to use with these shades. xo
My first CT lipstick
I like it. This is a great Nude shade - a real nude. I'm going to look into other shades. Everyone has a different lipstick experience based on body chemistry. What might be great for one, may not be so for the next. Think about what you like in your collection already, and be open to trying another. Yes, $32 is expensive for lipstick. This one works for me. And on my skin color, it's a real nude - a rare find.
LOVE this shade & First Time with RMS shadows
OK, well I saw this shade in some video on YouTube and fell in LOVE with the color. I found it on Beautylish's site, whereas no one else had it. I read the reviews and saw it was either loved or not so much. I tried it on me, and unfortunately it does not stay put. It disappears and it creases a lot. I knew this could be a problem going in , but was so drawn to the shade I went for it anyway. The problem is the formulation with coconut oil, which is hydrating, but will dissipate. Maybe a different darker color would hold up, but I doubt it. Sorry, wanted to love it.
I Like It ...
I think this is a nice lip product for the price. My go to lip gloss, and I've tried a ton of them, is Kevyn Aucoin's in Tulapina. However, Kevyn's products are very pricey and the gloss is $30. So, for a $12 lip gloss, this is a good deal. The only negative (for me) is that I find it a little sticky which is sometimes passed off as hydrating. No, sticky is sticky. Just my experience and two cents here.
Very Smooth but not dark enough
I was expecting something a little more bold in this color. I had to go over it several times, and then found it would smear slightly. Not quite the right texture I was hoping for. I do have the Duraline so am thinking of using that with other pigmented shadows I have to see how bold I can get them to be. The gel needs to be more dense. Other than that, it's a lovely color.
