Shine
It doesn't absorbed by skin easily - leaves shine and makes my skin slightly red - irritated.
Gun oil smell
My son commented that I smell like gun oil - linseed oil. It does look and smell like linseed oil. I just hope this was really purified to the grade of using it in skincare. It makes a slight tint(yellow-orange) when applied to the face. Skin looked perfect in combination with moisturizer.
Impressive!
I was in search of simple moisturizer without perfume. Chanel made 10, but it cost $110. This one I use with oil under it. It reminds of Nivea texture. It has very slight smell. It makes skin perfect without the need for cover-up. Skin feels good. Matte. I like it so far.
Horrible packaging
It didn't work for me as a shower gel, but I use it as hand soap. I had to pour it out into the other Bioderma container with the pump. This tube was leaking all over the place. It is meant to stand like on the picture, but this gel is such a thin liquid that it just can't stay contained. Skin feels soft after washing hands. Followed by paraffin cream.
Helps you shine
After using Bioderma Sebium scrub and foam for a couple of weeks my skin got so dehydrated that I gave a try to this cream. It keeps skin moisturized but it makes it very shiny and if you try to put make up on it doesn't work so good. It is so powerful that it shows right through. The whole thing of Sebium line didn't work for me.
Scrub as a scrub
It does nothing at all. It doesn't prevent blemishes. The foaming gel works a bit better. This product is just a waste of money if you hoping to get rid of blemishes. Clinique masque with green clay works a lot better than this stuff.
Shower gel
I use it after work out as a shower gel. The skin feels clean after using it. It doesn't prevent blemishes. It just cleans the skin. It is ok to use for shaving.
Easy to use
Even without pump it is easy to use. I like the sent. It doesn't irritate me, but it leaves a film on the skin. The skin looks shiny afterwards. Sometimes I rinse my face with water as I'm not too excited about the feeling this solution leaves. It takes of make up good. I tried many different brands who makes micellar water. This one is number 2 in my chart. Biotherm is still number 1.
Does the opposite
It dries out skin so much that it flakes. The beads are too big and harsh. Previously I used Biotherm for dry skin, which definitely was better than Bioderma. It claims it is for dehydrated and sensitive skin. It is not!
No fragrance
It has almost no fragrance, and light texture. It didn't work for me. I have sensitive dry skin with once in a while breakouts. It caused some itching.
