Good quality shadows. Hefty price-tag. The jury is still out.

My package from Beautylish has arrived yesterday so I have yet to play too much with the palette, just did a couple of swatches and put the shimmer shade all over my lid (couldn't resist, it's so gorgeous!). Eyeshadows swatches looked rather promising. I also find this palette extremely simple and pretty (beautiful simplicity as I like to say).

It is noteworthy that the listing over at Beautylish for this specific palette is off, and I have contacted customer service to let them know about this issue. Apparently, when you order 'champagne bronze' from Beautylish, you end up with shades Ion, Coy and Act, whereas what you really should be getting is Ion, Coy and ARK. Eventually, one eyeshadow doesn't belong in the trio, pretty nevertheless however it is not the expected dark matte shade that is supposed to be included in this palette of 3.

I will continue playing with these shades, expecting the Beautylish team to attend my inquiry about the third shade and keep you posted. As for the shades themselves- you are not really getting much for each shade (1 gram is pretty small for this price-tag if you ask me), but the shades themselves and especially Ion are gorgeous. I have tried Ion on the lid and it works excellent both wet and dry.

I think that if you choose this palette you will not be disappointed since the shades are ones you can use on the daily to create a beautiful simple eye that looks effortless each time. That being said, I do think the price is overwhelming and does not justify the purchase. While I do like the shade's selection and the creaminess of the shadows, I do think you can find exact shades in other brands for less money. At the end of the day, you are getting 3 grams of shadow for 99$. Come to think of it, getting a ND palette or a PMG mothership will be a much better purchase for the money as both brands have amazing eyeshadows and more product for the money.

My go to quad for any ocassion.

This quad along with the dulce vita are my favorite CT quads to date. This assortment of shades I find to be flattering on just about anyone. Out of the quafs CT has to offer this one and the dulce vita are the most unique. If you happen to like rosy, gold and mauve shades this palette is a no-brainer, an absolute stunner. Whenever I am in the mood for a statement eye look, the kind that make you turn around - I wear this quad and never have I been disappointed with my look while using it.

I wish I could say every CT palette is worth getting considering the hefty price tag but I don't. I do believe there are greater shades, formulas and textures at a better price. This quad however, makes me feel my absolute best every single time I use it. I am never let down with the final result and my eye makeup is always on point. If you were on the fence about getting your own CT palette - I say go for the Dolce Vita since in my opinion is the most unique. Can't go wrong with these type of shades. You can easily create a daytime office-appropriate look as well as a stunning smokey eye for a nice night out. Whatever look you are trying to achieve you can do it fairly easily with this CT quad.

Anastasia's best palette yet!

I remember getting this palette when it first became available on beautylish. Whenever a product I have my eye on is being sold at beautylish I always prefer ordering from them since yhe customer service never cease to amaze and the shipping is extra quick. When I first got the palette I kept holding off writing a review since I wanted to get a feel for it and play around qith the different shades beforehand. Plus, there were so many people reviewing this palette as is at the the time that I did not think it was necessary writing my own opinions and thoughts. However, I did want to come up here and say - there is a reason why this palette was and still os HYPED. 14 gorgeous shades, blendable buttery shadows that makes you have fun with makeup while still looking polished and gorgeous. I came up with some gorgeous looks using it and find myself reaching for it quite often (considering my massive collection of shadows that is saying a lot).

Great deal, a must have for any beautyblender fan!

Got this set about two months ago and can't be happier with this purchase! In this case you are getting a great deal for sure. Having not 1 but 2 beautyblenders plus a blotting tool and the cleanser leaves no room for overthinking about it. It is the perfect way to try out some of the top products from the brand without paying extra money for both the cleanser and the blotterazzi.
