Super dark, but kind of clumpy

I tried this mascara because it was Marleena's (from Makeupgeek.com) favorite mascara, but I wasn't too impressed with it. Maybe it's because of my natural lashes (size, color, thickness...?) but I found this mascara to be very clumpy and not for those with an unsteady hand. It was VERY black, so it will darken your lashes very successfully! I didn't feel that bad about not liking it, since it can be found at good ol' Target! I think my problem may have stemmed from the wand - it is very thick and long. The Voluminous Million Lashes wand is synthetic and not as long/thick, so it grabs my lashes perfectly. Hopefully that comparison helps - if this one doesn't work for you, try the million lashes!

Vibrant, high quality shadows

This was actually my first palette I purchased from Urban Decay :) Aww, the memories! What drew my attention was how bright and vibrant the colors were - gotta love rainbows! These are Urban Decay's Deluxe shadows, so they are even more creamy, bright, and awesome than the regular ones. If you're a fan of matte shades, don't pick this palette up. Every shade shimmers, and Fishnet is slightly duo-chrome. All of them can blend into other colors in the palette seamlessly, and there are some neutral shades so don't be afraid of this palette! Personally, I found the packaging pretty fun as well, but the texture of the metallic mesh on the top was just fun to touch. Not to mention extra points for the fuzzy purple! If you have the money to spend and you're already a fan of the regular UD shadows, you gotta pick this palette up.

Great variety and quality of shadows for the price

Like most makeup enthusiasts, the more colors in a palette I see, the more excited I get. And that reaction doubles when it wouldn't cost me an arm and a leg to own it! I have the 88 original (or "shimmer" palette, I believe?) palette and at first it's a little intimidating because you have SO many color choices! They're all very smooth and vibrant colors, though depending on your primer, it can change how they behave. I typically use Urban Decay's primer potion in Eden, and the tanwy nude finish makes the colors vibrant but sometimes darker than I'd like. The original UD primer potion works VERY well, though, and the shadows look more like how they are in the pan when applied. What stands out to me about these shadows is not only the variety and color, but they just blend so effortlessly into one another! They're not the best shadows I've ever played with, but for the price and with what you get, they're an excellent buy. And since buying each of those colors individually would cause most of us to end up in the poor house, this is a great find for those who want to experiment with a rainbow of colors without it hurting their bank account. I definitely recommend this, especially to those just starting to experiment with shadows!

Excellent Primer - especially with new packaging

This was the primer first mention by my first viewing of a youtube guru tutorial - and I must confess, I'm rather partial to the Urban Decay brand (maybe it's all the purple?). It's a great primer - it does slightly (for me, at least) even out the tone of the lids and, of course, zero creasing of shadows throughout the whole day! The only reason I don't give this 5 stars is because I love the Eden primer potion a little bit more :3 This product won't fail you!

One word: AWESOME

Now, I'm somebody that is cursed with naturally long and curled lashes (trust me, they're not so fun when they curl INTO your eye), so mascara has mostly served a darkening and separating function for me, but this mascara is just, well, awesome! For my lashes, the wand gets every single one of 'em, it darkens in a way that isn't clumpy or strange, and it does make even my lashes look fuller and thicker but not to the point of me looking like a Kardashian. Can't go wrong with the price - if I can get it at Target, it's in my budget! If you're a fan of L'Oreal's Voluminus mascara, definitely check this one out - to me it might not be as thick or dark, but it definitely doesn't clump as much.

Great mix of color, moisture, and price!

In my youtube trollings, I heard a lot of the gurus mentioning this product. When I finally found them at Target, I had to try one! The first one I purchased was Peach Parfait. It was love at first application! It gave a very good amount of color to my lips, decent sparkle (not a disco ball though), and felt very moisturizing! After wearing it for a couple of days, I went back to Target and bought Pink Truffle. This is a matte-ish pink/brown, but it definitely has some color to it! My lips are naturally flushed, so this made them look a lot darker than the package color led me to believe. It was still gorgeous though! I will definitely be picking more of these up - especially if they ever go on sale! If you're one of those people that can't choose between a lipstick or gloss, or you just love aspects of both, you should pick one of these up. They have a very good variety of shade, so finding a color won't be an issue :)

Hands down a beauty must-have!

Despite there being another NAKED palette that came out (NAKED2, if you didn't know!), this palette is AMAZING. I've always been more attracted to bright, vibrant, and unique colors - neutral shadows just weren't my thing. Then I saw this palette and how excited and full of life Urban Decay's neutrals were and my opinion did a complete 180. From what I've seen and read about the differences between the two NAKED palettes, the first one has more gold/bronze shadows where the second has cooler, greige ones. I've always been drawn to gold and sparkles, so this palette is definitely more for me (I have yet to try NAKED2, but since they are so similar I'll wait until I have the extra $ to splurge lol). I love the matte shadows (Naked and Buck) and I absolutely LOVE the black in this palette (Creep). It has dark pigmentation but with just the right amount of sparkle :) Sidecar has to be my top pick for most unique neutral shade I've ever seen - and it's so versatile! It looks great alone on the lids, or it can be used in the crease. And for an easy golden-bronze trio, look no further than the Half-Baked, Smog, and Darkhorse shadows. And for those makeup enthusiasts that aren't in my age demographic, Gunmetal looks amazing as a liner or on the lid for people 50+ (I've done some experimenting with this palette on my mom). This palette is great for everyone, even if you have a ton of makeup or are just starting out :) A++, Urban Decay!
