Beauty Product Reviews
Works Great but $$
I would have given this 5 stars if it weren't for the fact that I use this stuff much more quickly than other primers, such as Smashbox's Photo Finish. As much as I love the design of the pump bottle, I think it makes it a little bit difficult to control how much you use.
As far as the product itself, though, it really does hold onto my foundation (Kat Von D Lock-It) well, and it does a good job of moisturizing as well.
The BEST Coverage!
For the last year and a half I've had some yearly horrible acne issues, so much so that it was hard for me to even leave the house, but this foundation really saved me. Although my skin has cleared up a lot since I started using it, I still use it and love it. It might not be the best option if you have super dry skin as it has a very matte finish, but my skin is pretty dry at the moment and it still works for me.
I'd say the main pros are: Full coverage + long-lasting wear. Definitely need to use a good makeup remover for this, though, not just makeup wipes. I use an oil cleanser and it works best.
Great Long-lasting Hold!
I have some pretty stubborn and thick eyebrows, and as I currently can't do too much to shape them at the moment I need to work with brow pencils and gel and this really does the trick. A little goes a long way so it should last you a while. I'm still working on a sample I got from Sephora!
The Absolute Best Quality!
There's really no comparison to Julep. I am a fan of some other brands, but as an overall package, Julep is the greatest. The application is a breeze, the color selection is phenomenal, and the staying power is insane. I'm a nail polish addict and have tried many brands - both commercial and indie and I will always promote this company. Also, some may complain about the price, but in comparison to other more expensive brands, Julep comes out way above the rest. Plus, they often have great deals and if you join their Maven club, you're really getting your money's worth.
Seen in photo is December's "Joelle" over Butter London's "Tea with the Queen".

Doesn't do what it is meant to
I have really odd skin in that it is super oily all over, but can also be dry and flaky in patches. In terms on controlling my shine throughout the day, it did nothing, and not long after applying my skin was back to being shiny. Also, it says it won't over dry skin, but it definitely did dry out my skin.
Save your money
This really did nothing for me. I have combination skin, and for the drier areas of my skin it did nothing to help moisturize. I really don't see the point of buying a product that offers essentially no cover and ALSO doesn't do what it's meant to: moisturize and smooth skin.
Only use if you want to look like a carrot!
This was very blotchy, and after 30 minutes or so it turned very orange and just looked horrendous. I definitely would not recommend this to anyone I know, especially not the paler ladies.
