So much more than just stress management

For the last six months I’ve been using Ashwaghanda root supplements and I must say I am a true believer in the healing benefits it provides to my body. I stumbled upon SuperYou when I was tired of my usual ashwaghanda supplement and wanted to try something with more ingredients that could provide more benefits to my mind and body. Then I found this guy.

First of all, it’s loaded with Shatavari root extract which is a popular ingredient in ayurvedic medicine because of it’s anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Next, there’s my beloved Rhodiola root extract which I accredit for my calm, relaxed demeanor and abundance of restful nights. The three ingredients together? Are you kidding me? I knew I was bound to love SuperYou!

I’ve been taking this steadily for two months now and I couldn’t be happier. For the first two weeks I only took one of the recommended two per day just to let my body adjust to all the greatness it had coming. After two weeks I increased the dosage to two per day and it’s been easy-sailing ever since!

If you’re like me and don’t always remember to take your daily supplements, get one bottle for home and one bottle for work so you are never without it!

Cleared my cystic acne in three weeks

Uma is hands down one of my favorite pure-essential-oil brands. There’s something about the aroma of the oil, the experience of applying skincare and most important—the results!

Here’s a little background about me: I have dry and sensitive skin but other than that my skin is in pretty good condition.

About 4 months ago my skin was breaking out so terribly and I mean it was cystic acne forming so rapidly I didn’t know where to begin! I was so desperate to address my skin concerns and I stumbled upon this beauty. The Deeply Clarifying Face Oil. Ah, I get such fond memories thinking about this product! In a matter of 3 weeks this oil took my skin from cystic-acne-paradise back to it’s good ole dry self! It gave me results I was never expecting and I am so grateful.

Now let’s get down to the ingredients…

There’s Eugenia Caryophyllus Flower Oil and Tea Tree Oil which are known to dry the skin so imagine putting drying ingredients on dry skin, yeah, not the ideal match, I know. But it worked! There was a good week of extreme dryness and small breakouts on my cheeks but I stuck with it and the results were no more cystic acne!!!

When I had my huge cystic acne breakout I made sure to limit the products I was using because I didn’t want to risk any chance of further irritation so I cut my entire routine out for three weeks and only used this product. I strongly recommend trying this if you have acne. There may or may not be a short phase of your skin getting use to the product but it will all be worth it once you continue using this.

Side note: I do not use this product everyday, nor have I used it since my acne completely cleared up about two and a half months ago. The reason being is that I have dry skin and although I love this product, I don’t feel it’s targeted for dry skin. This product would be perfect for everyday use if you have oily skin and if you have severely dry skin like myself I would recommend it to be used on a rotating basis, two weeks on and two weeks off. Oh yeah, there’s also a divine smell to this product. Gotta love essential oils!!

Like you’re floating in a cloud of peonies

I purchased this baby back in the summer time and every time I use it I think of lovely pink peonies during those long warm nights! All summer long my skin was glistening with a sultry yet sweet aroma of peonies. The scent is identical to the cologne version but there’s just something about an oil that mixes with your body’s oils and creates pure bliss to the senses!

The opening also dispenses a good amount of product and believe me when I say a little goes a long way.

I can’t say I would repurchase this product anytime soon because you get so much oil it will last you an insanely long time! However, once I do run out I will definitely be picking this up again!

Glowy skin all day long!

I don’t think I’ve ever loved an oil so much. This oil does wonders for my dry skin and I don’t know what I was doing without it in my life before.

I’ve tried many oils because I have dry, sensitive skin that absorbs any oil, moisturizer or treatment that I apply. My dry skin absorbs everything I put on it and within an hour I look completely matte and no glow to my skin whatsoever. That was at least until I met this oil. I can put this oil on and it will make my skin look and feel so hydrated and glowy all day long! It doesn’t feel heavy nor does it look oily on my skin (although, I wouldn’t mind if it did because I need all the oil I can get). It’s indescribable. It’s like you just got a facial or exfoliated your skin, it’s a stunning glow but it’s so insane to me that it’s actually my skin, no treatments, nothing, just my natural skin with all the hydration and glow that I’ve been yearning for!

In the mornings I like to apply the Boscia Sake Treatment Water then apply this oil. In the evenings I’ll do the same but follow up with a thicker moisturizer like the Belif Moisturizer.

The most hydrating treatment for my dry, sensitive skin

I’ve been using this toner off and on over a month now. I can confidently say this has changed my skincare routine for the better! I began using this toner during the middle of winter and my skin was easily irritated by anything I put on it. I also tried a face mask that broke out my skin severely and I did a little research since breakouts typically cause dry skin for me. I found this treatment and I am never looking back. Within a matter of 2-3 days my skin was so hydrated I couldn’t stop looking in the mirror! I used 3-4 drops of this and my dry skin just absolutely loved it and drank it all up!

When I tried this out, I was a bit thrown off by the size of this product — 55 ml or 1.85 oz. But as I began using it on a daily basis, I found that less is more with this product and I don’t need a whole lot of it to give my skin what it needs. I believe the directions recommend 1-2 pumps but with 3-4 drops of product, I find that it does the job for my dry skin.

Earlier I said I have used this off and on and the reason being I want to save this for my extra dry skin days. I’ve truly found a gem in my skincare routine and I am so very glad!

A nice soft, subtle scent

I have the Relative Paradise and I recently purchased the Serious Gaze. The Serious Gaze is perfect on it's own but I love to layer it with Relative Paradise to create a sweet but silky scent. If you're looking for a light , airy scent with hints of sandalwood, you'll enjoy this!

Great for dry, brittle nails

I've been using this base coat for about a year now and I never find myself reaching for a different base coat. I've used this with both Smith & Cult polishes as well as drugstore polishes and it definitely prevents your polish from chipping. I also like to use this when I want to let my nails breathe on the days I'm not applying polish.

Amazing for dry skin!

This is my go-to and it has never failed me! I have dry skin and occasional discoloration from breakouts and things of that nature. Every time I use this essence my skin is left feeling hydrated and revitalized! I can’t imagine my skincare routine without this bad boy. I tend to only use this in the day time along with the Caudalie Vine[activ] line and I promise you this routine will give you a glow and hydration you have dreamed of! Love, love, love!!!

My fave brush for blending in bronzer!

I cannot live without this brush when it comes to blending in my bronzer with contour. The tapered tip of this brush really gives a great blend and I greatly appreciate it! I will say that the brush hairs shed a bit after the first few washes but after that it's smooth sailing!

Gives an amazing "wet" appearance to the skin!

This glossing pencil is a hidden gem! If you're looking for a dewy "wet" look to the cheekbones, this is your product! You can either apply it to your finger tips and blend it into your skin or you can use the pencil directly on your face. I have found that the latter will move my makeup around a bit so if you use foundation/concealer for more of a medium, full coverage, you want to apply this to your finger tips and blend it in that way. This is perfect for photoshoots, too! Dewy is my best friend and I don't like to use a highlighter always. Great alternative to traditional liquid, cream, and powder highlights!
