Beauty Product Reviews

Old time fav

Such an underrated excellent product. Beautiful under makeup. I’m here to reorder - it’s been awhile and the packaging has changed. I hope the formulation didn’t. 😱 Love it.

Poor craftsmanship

I bought the Pro face set and this brush was included. I wanted to write a review separately on this brush because it is the only one I am disappointed with. The brush is already falling apart which is sad because I know the brand prides itself on the craftsmanship. The ferrule is very loose and every time I use it I can literally hear like a clicking which is a sign that it’s getting looser and looser. Its that loose wherein I can move the ferrule around but it hasn’t officially popped off completely but the sound drives me nuts so I stopped using it. I purchased the set maybe 2 years ago which sounds like a long time ago but in the higher end brush world, 2 years is not that long when your paying 40.00-100.00 or more for 1 brush. I am not a makeup artist so it’s not like I am using it every single day on multiple people. I do have a nice collection of brushes so again, I am not using it every day. The point of investing money into high end brushes is so I am not having to go out and buy brushes all of the time. I do not to wash my natural hair brushes, that I use for strictly powders, very often, so I cant say it’s from water getting trapped. I do have other brushes from her line that I really enjoy so I hate to give a crappy review. It is very soft and nice to look at but if it’s going to fall apart then what’s the point. My most recent purchase was the travel set she just launched at Xmas and so far, I have been enjoying them. I have multiple eye brushes and face brushes from her line so Maybe this one was just a dud but for the price point and the fact It'll just collect dust in my collection or end up in the trash, I had to share.

2019 fav for me!

My first JS palette and I can not put it down. I love green &These are awesome additions to my collection! Flying saucer is like a true crayon green that I can’t dupe in MY collection. Tall grey is another HUGE fav for me. it could look intimidating but once you crack into it I think you’ll be surprised as to how everyday friendly this really is. They perform great too. Pigmented, blend out easily. I couldn’t be happier.

Best highlighting fan brush

This is my favorite highlighter brush ever. It applies just enough and blend out perfect.

On the fence.

I love everything about the brush other than the fact that not long after I purchased it the ferrule became loose. After that it’s all downhill. I was expecting the quality to be alittle better than that.

The real deal.

This is a perfect sculpting brush. It fits perfect in the hollows of the cheeks and around the perimeters of the face. It’s a little small for blush for my shaped face. It also is great for highlighting. It’s super soft and blends powder into the skin like butter. It’s a beautiful brush.

My new holy grail

This is the best crease brush I own and I do have several. It diffuses the product perfect. Gives a pro finish to any eye look. Not too big so it fits perfect in the crease of hooded lids. It can place color on the lid because it's not so fluffy that it doesn't pack on color. Blends out the lower lash line beautifully because it's almost flatter but still fluffy. So glad they split the set to buy this individually. Definitely worth the money !!! If you save up and invest I promise this Is the only crease type brush you need.
