They're not magnetic!?

I'm so confused...these aren't magnetic at all. How are the eyeshadow me supposed to stay safe in them? I'd return them if they weren't so pretty. I'm determined to find another use for them but I'm disappointed that I won't get to look at them every morning when I do t makeup ;(
