Beauty Product Reviews
Definitely a step up from the past
This is the third red sparkle lippie that JSC has put out, Hoe Hoe Hoe and Rich Blood. HHH just wasn't a good consistency and RB didn't dry down and was all around a mess, very unfortunate. This shade though is just right. Like any red, this will stain your lips, but not in a very bad way and nothing some baby oil and lip scrub can fix. Definitely recommend. Looking forward to more sparkle shades in the future.
Perfect color
I have many JSC shades and this one is going to be a favorite right up there with Mannequin and Calabasas. It is a very nice light pink and liliac color with little sparkles. Doesn't feel gritty and dries down better than a lot of his shades without killing your lips. Turns more purple as you wear it, but definitely still in the nude category
Never fails to impress!
This is my third Sugarpill purchase and I have yet to be unimpressed with this brand. I will say this lipstick looks less red on the lips but it's because of the metallic tone of it, similar to metallic paint on a car. The formula of their lipsticks is so good. It stays but is also very thin on your lips and you can't really tell it's even there. The eyeshadows are very nice and I love Wink as a highlight. Kiss Kiss is perfect for the "heroine chic" look. I felt it was as great value for the price.
Not to bad but the cool colors were a total let down
This palette is very different in terms of color from the Beauty Killer. These colors are much more neutral and "normal." Frosting is a wonderful highlight color and all of the warm tones are VERY pigmented and little goes a long way. Now for the bad, the cool tones were totally chalky and did not look the same once put on the skin from the pan. I have tried a few times to use these colors to get a good effect and I just can't seem to make it happen. I have used Poison and Swallow along my bottom lash line as an accent but that's it and Military was a total let down. It ends up looking way more of a yellow bruisey color. So all in all I give this a 70% since three of them aren't really useable.
