Beauty Product Reviews
one star off for limited colour range
coverage: sheer to medium, can be built up.
finish: Absolutely beautiful. This foundation has a very natural finish, it's not matte or oily dewy, but gives you a watery "photoshopped" glow. It has many micro sparkles to reflect lights, so even though it doesn't cover your flaws, the light will do. The stronger the light it's under, the more radiant it makes you look. It setts and doesn't transfer (at least for my dry skin), and it doesn't look cakey on me unless I pack three layers on (which most foundations in the world do). For me it doesn't burden the skin (which means I don't feel I have something on my face all the time when I'm wearing it).
colour range: I HATE this colour range. This is an East Asian brand and I'm exactly East Asian, but even I can't find a matching shade (WHY). 113 is slightly too pale for me and 123 is slightly too dark for me. I don't even consider 213 since I have very typical neutral skin tone. Good news is it's very sheer coverage so it's more forgiving when you are not wearing the exactly right colour. I'm thinking of keeping both 113 and 123 and blend them together as I need.
Wish I could know how long can a bottle wait after it's open until it expires, since I'm using two at a time. Need help with that.
best tinted lip balm I've used?!?!
Before I got this I have tried both the tinted lip balm by Fresh and the colour changing lip balm by Dior. The Fresh one was too soft and sticky on the lips, and the Dior one was super drying and not moisturizing at all. This product, however, locks all the moisture in without the tackiness, and leaves a sheer rosy tone on my lips. I don't understand why I've never heard of anyone raving or reviewing or recommending this product, since it's far better than the other more well-known two.
