Too dark and muddy for my NC30 skin
Applied a small amount with a wet sponge and it just looked too dark and muddy. Will see if this works better as a darkening agent for foundation.
Looks white on my NC30 skin
I was expecting a champagne color but it just looks white on me. That's okay though, it's pretty. The only problem is that it doesn't seem to be waterproof. To be fair, neither was the foundation I wore underneath. But if this is the same as sunkissed, MAC Prep+prime loose powder and Nyx Mattify spray won't make it last long. Maybe I need to wear waterproof foundation underneath it too.
Gorgeous but disappears after 3 hours
Sunkissed has a very slight shimmer. It almost looks matte and it's a perfect contour color for my NC30 skin. The only con is that I haven't figured out how to make it last on me. I've tried spraying Nyx Mattify spray. I've tried MAC Prep+Prime loose powder. Do I need to put more? I'm not sure. Hopefully I'll figure it out, but I'll definitely still keep wearing this.
Holy Grail
I'm in New Zealand and I had to order this from the US because N40 was always sold out on Sephora NZ. It was so worth it! I've mixed it with Clinique Moisture Surge CC Cream, Elizabeth Arden custom foundation, and Clinique Superbalanced. Cover Drops made all these products match my skintone, and it improved their finish and coverage so, so much, including foundations that I would never wear before. This product redeemed my bad foundation choices, and I'm so thankful.
