Complexion junkie must have! Formula unlike any other.

So excited that Uoma is available at Beautylish. I've been eying this brand for a while and wanting to try their foundation in particular.

At first pump, the texture threw me off: almost water-like, more serum-y than I had anticipated solely based off the product description. Any misconceptions I had were quickly dispelled upon application. I had one of those, ‘Where is the product moments?’. I didn't see it as I was applying using my Juno & Co Storm Cloud Sponge and that's when I realized it was THE most skin like foundation I have ever used. What’s unique about the skin like finish is that this baby is FULL coverage. It fully covered my freckles (I'm very proud of my freckles and do not cover them daily, but when I want full coverage, that includes freckles!), without any texture, I mean like NO texture at all. It's like it was pigment on my skin, leaving me naturally flawless. Like I just woke up like that!

Also tried applying the product with a brush and while it resulted in less coverage, I ended up liking the brush application better for every day use.

I cannot stress enough how the texture of the foundation coupled with the level of coverage is unlike any other foundation I've tried. The soft matte finish was a bit of a deterrent for my dry skin, but there was no dryness. In fact my skin appeared supple, and lit from within even after setting with my go to Hourglass Ambient powders.

So glad I've added this into my foundation repertoire and so stoked the Uoma is on Beautylish!

Great As a Contour Stick

Love this little gem not so much as an all over foundation but to put down as a contour base prior to applying my bronzer. The shape of the stick is a perfect fit for marking out the shadows of my face and the tint coverage is buildable so the fierceness of my contour is customizable.

Wonderfully convenient for travel too since I don't have to worry about packing a powder with care!

Subtle or Chiseled Contour

Love this bronzer for marking out the shadows on my face! I can keep it light and diffused for a natural bronzed look or I can use a firmer hand and really define for a fierce contour. The cream doesn't disturb my foundation or concealer underneath. Since this is matte, I layer the Hourglass Ambient Bronzer on top for radiant golden bronze finish. I've also taken to using this as a cream shadow in my crease or as a base for a smokey eye!

Oh and a little goes a long way so the value is incredible.

So glad I branched out and gave this a shot.

Perfect Travel Set

Great value set full of Caudalie favs. Perfect for myself, who is an established Caudalie lover, but it's also a good go to as an introduction to the brand if perhaps you're not familiar with Caudalie.

The pointed tip on the Premier Cru Eye Cream makes for precise application on the orbital bone, without overuse. This is the first eye cream that has ever touched my dark circles...Caudalie will always be one of my skincare pillars.

Hydrating & glowing

Love what this spray is doing for my skin! The analogy comparing skin to a sponge that needs to stay slightly damp has fully resonated with me after using this. My skin has had a post steam facial glow to it ever since I introduced this to my routine. In addition to hydration, my skin just seems more refined. I'm using this frequently throughout the day as well am & pm. The rose scent is soft and not overpowering.

A word of advice - the spray is more akin to a spritz rather than a mist in my opinion. The nozzle doesn't drench you by any means, but it wasn't necessarily as fine of a "mist" as I that I envisioned.

Slow to convert, quick to fall in love

My only experience with sponges are the traditional old school wedges from when I first started playing with makeup. It's been engrained in my makeup brain the brushes are the only way to go for a seamless blended look. Well, at 30 I learned the error of my ways after deciding on a whim to test out the Juno & Co Storm Cloud.

Used damp, no product is absorbed or wasted and the finish is beautiful, too. No texture. I prefer a more natural coverage that can I build up if needed for special events, and this baby is up for achieving all my #skingoals.

Oh also, so much faster for me than a brush!

Precise and detailed. Great for perfectionists

This pencil is super tiny. The hair stroke it leaves very much replicates natural hair, almost no need to use the spooley to blend. Used alone this product gives a great natural brow, the fine point is fabulous for filling where the hair is sparse. For a more dramatic brow look, I use this pencil in conjunction with other brow fillers to sculpt and add micro definition to my already bold brow. IMO brows are all about detail, and this pencil nails it!

Max Complexion Pads...that soothe

These pads are very similar to the PTR Max Complexion Correction, but seem to have a more nourishing effect along with the traditional chemical peel. Think Stridex pads but way more gentle, with much less irritation. My pores are smaller with less texture on my trouble areas, and a reduction in hormonal breakouts.

My skin normal/dry skin tolerates these with daily use. For a more sensitive type, 2-3 times per week would be more appropriate. Sun protection is advised, these do cause sun sensitivity. Since incorporating this into my daily routine, my toner seems to be working more effective in addition to all the fabulous benefits of the pads themselves!

An experience, a necessary one.

I received this mask as a sample with my UMA Pure Rest Wellness Incense. Last night I lit one of the incense sticks and then I applied a layer of this mask on slightly damp skin, as directed.

The combination of the warming sensation from the mask, the therapeutic aroma of the incense, and also the serene scent of the mask itself, instantly transported me to relaxation heaven. The UMA products have a "down to earth" scent. That is to say, the smells that they evoke aren't overly perfume-y or artificial smelling.

After this experience, I'm really looking forward to trying more UMA products, specifically the UMA Brightening Rose Toner.

A curly girl's dream

As many women out there, I have traversed the world of hair care products far and wide in search of the holy grail that would calm my crazy curls. Oribe Curl Control Silkening Creme is unlike any other product I have used. This creme will actually help to form perfectly spiraled curls (even if your hair is frizzy hot mess like mine!).

Like another reviewer reported here, there is no crunch or flakey residue like most curl defining products. Can we also talk about the smell?! This little gem is infused with the signature Oribe scent...the perfect mixture a fresh clean and floral without being overly fragrant.

For me, the biggest drawback to falling in love with this product was the price. I will say though, that a tube does last an incredibly long time, seeing as how so little product is needed to work its magic. When wearing my hair in its natural state, this product is a must have. It has increased my confidence tenfold!
