Beautiful red eyeliner

I didn’t have much love for cake liner until I met M101. I have light skin with neutral olive undertones and prefer to use red eyeliner pencils to line my eyes rather than brown. This eyeliner is a perfect shade of dark red-brown. Do I wish it’s waterproof? Of course, since I have watery, hooded eyes. I am liable to smear my liner if I forget and rub my eyes. Would I repurchase? Yes. Because the color is great. The formula is great, and actually stays put ince it dries. Just remember to not put too much liquid when you’re mixing your liner so it doesn’t smear on your upper lid!

My daily eye look!

I love this eyeshadow! It applies so smoothly. The color is just a shade darker than my own lids, but has a surprisingly brightening effect. I put this all over my lids, stamp on my red cake eyeliner, and my daily look is done! Since this is a cream, I do set it with a translucent powder. It creases when it’s a particularly hot day, but it’s not really a problem for me. You might reconsider getting this if you have very oily lids or are particularly sweaty, but overall I highly recommend!

Applies cake liner perfectly!

I could never get that sharp little flick at the end of my liner until I used this brush! It has to be noted that you should STAMP the brush along your lid, and not drag it. The thin edge actually makes the perfect line. Thanks to Beautylish I am able to get my hands on this. I am getting a back-up!!

Beautiful!

I decided to skip the Lotus set because I initially thought it wasn’t all that attractive. When Sonia and Beautylish released singles, I finally gave in and tried out this brush… and oh my goodness! The pictures don’t do it justice. The handle is so beautiful! Also the bristles are silky soft. It glides across my almost-fifty hooded eyelids and it just works beautifully when I need to do a one and done eye look.

This brush shed a bristle or two when I first washed it, but nothing after that. Again a good job, Sonia G! And thanks to Beautylish too for a fast delivery! I highly recommend this brush.

Silky soft!

I am so glad I decided to get this set. The bristles as silky smooth and the overall look is gorgeous! Both brushes lay down powder and blend beautifully. The bigger brush I use for translucent powder. The smaller one (my favorite!) I use to apply a glowy blush which it does perfectly. I have a smaller face and the size is just right to apply the blush on my cheeks.

I am seriously thinking of getting another set to keep because I use this set daily. Don’t get me wrong, these brushes feel sturdy and well-made in the hand. It did shed a hair or two during 1st use but no major shedding thereafter.

I love these brushes and highly recommend them! Once again Sonia G. and Beautylish did a great job!

A light olive foundation!!!!

214 is a perfect match for my light skin with olive undertones. No need to mix with another olive foundation!

It works well with my maturing skin. I am in my 40s and this just gives me a fresh, slightly matte finish. Applied with a brush, a pea-sized amount is enough for a sheer skin-like coverage all over my face. It is buildable to a medium coverage, but it can lose some of that skin-like quality that is so lovely.

The longest I’ve worn it out is 4-5 hours so I really can’t say if it’s long-wearing since I haven’t worn it for any longer. The foundation stayed nice and fresh for the whole time though. No caking. No pilling. Just maybe a little shinier on the nose.

Is it worth the price tag? For me, yes it is. The color match and the finish are truly outstanding to me.

So soft!

I have been into cream shadows lately and have been looking for synthetic brushes. When these arrived I couldn’t get over how nice they looked. I really like the useful case they came in too. Perfect for when I can travel again. I also didn’t expect the brushes to be sooo soft. I feel the set has been curated thoughtfully. You can create a lot of looks with it.

Beautiful!

This is a beautiful palette, inside and out. The palette itself is shiny and slim but a little heavy, very expensive-feeling. The shadows inside so beautifully blendable. The colors are not ground-breaking. We’ve seen them all before. But they are the most beautiful versions themselves. This little lady will be living in my daily-use makeup drawer. Congratulations, Wayne! And thank you, Beautylish for superb service as always.

Perfect for short to medium lengths!

This makes beautiful flat iron beach waves! I got this for travel initially, but I have been using it to style my medium-length lob regularly now. It heats up really fast, and I appreciate the cap the comes with it!

Great addition to mature skin care!

I am 45 years old. My dermatologist currently has me on AHA, and a benzoyl peroxide + adapalene (a retinoid precursor) for hormonal acne. While this has cleared my acne, I just don’t have the glow that I used to have when I was doing all my multi-step skin care! So after much debating, I decided to pick this up. Good thing Beautylish offers divided payments!

I agree with one of the reviews before me. This BALANCES my skin. I press it on at night 1-2 minutes after my prescription meds, and I wake up with glowy skin. My cheeks are not parched. My nose is not oily. Just beautiful glowing skin. No moisturizer or face oil has given me that.

I know the VD serum really makes a difference for me because when I go away on a longer trip and leave this behind, I notice a gradual change in my skin’s condition.

So don’t be afraid to try this. I know it just looks like a high-priced oil mix, but it’s so much more than the sum of its parts! But if you’re sensitive to smells, you should probably avoid this. This has a strong floral/herbal smell from all the oils. I love it. It adds just that final touch of mindfulness to my nighttime routine.
