OCC's Lip Tars / VEGAN MAKEUP LINE

OCC is a vegan makeup line. Their lip tars are highly concentrated, have a thick texture and it only takes a small amount to achieve a glossed lip. Even less for a lip stain. They contain hemp & a peppermint scent. Don't forget to mix your lip color. I roll the tube between my palms to mix any settled ingredients.

DASH is a glossy light nude on my lips...If you're familiar with Jeffree Star's Liquid Lipsticks Androgyny & Mannequin, well...... Dash is their lip child.

LUSH appears as a dark plum color. It also will lighten out depending on the amount applied.

OCC makes 'FEATHERED', a white lip tar that can be used to create your own color or mute a darker color down.

WAYNE GOSS' GIFT PRICED ROSE GOLD AIR BRUSH....BELLISIMA

For beauty lovers of all things soft & beautiful, this WG Rose Gold Air Brush (Holiday Edition) surpasses just a soft brush. The bristles have a velvety, silky smooth texture & there is a definite tactile sensation when testing on your inner arm or checks.

However, even for a Jaded customer who has used super soft blue or gray squirrel brushes in the past, this is still a wonderful brush you may want to add to your collection.

Viewing this brush from the thin profile side, there is an ever so slightly forward curvature (towards the embossed WG logo). It has a pinched rose gold-copper ferrule with a single barrel. The handle is smooth & off white with the WG logo. The bristles come to a point.

I decided to experiment with my Tom Ford's Honeymoon quad eyeshadow which is Not my favorite palette & if this brush picked up this shadow then it passed. ANYHOW, I dipped the pointed tips into the darkest color and lo & behold it not only picked up the color but applied it like a eyeshadow brush, i.e.; WG#19. It picked up the shimmers also. Wonderful!!!!

Of course this brushs hairs will splay apart if pressed hard enough because it isn't densely packed. It delicately applied highlighter, bronzer & color (Powder) to my cheeks & face. I haven't tested creams because it may not be dense enough.

The final moment was how it performed, up close & personal, on my skin's areas that tend to be dry. Using my 12x magnifying mirror I noticed it didn't disturb my skin's dry areas or cause any flaking of my skin. This brush has a gentle skin loving light touch. This brush is gift priced and worth every dollar....Enough to purchase a second backup brush! Thanks Wayne Goss. 🖌❤️

Silky Violet Translucent Powder = Brightens, Color Corrects, Blurs Imperfections

I originally purchased this powder in March of 2017. I would still have a nearly full container of this powder, but I dropped this quite a few times, (the lid didn't fully twist & lock into place) & this last time I couldn't manage to save it.

The irony of buying this powder is crazy, because I don't regularly use facial setting or finishing powders on my skin. Honestly, it just settles into my fine lines that I wasn't aware I had, or settles into the ones I do know I have & then of course, I don't want to look like a floury cakey mess. So I use a UBER Strong setting spray.

Because of my SLIGHT aversion to powders, I'm so happy I didn't pass on this beautiful violet powder. That's because it's more than just an average powder. It's a finely milled, lightly rose scented, translucent blurring powder that BRIGHTENS & COLOR CORRECTS. It BRIGHTENS Sallow, Dull Complexions & also Color Corrects reds leaving your skin looking brighter with a Silky feel. Not that masky cakey baking in Powder feel...ughhh!

Anna Sui's Violet concoction is really quite beautiful the way it counteracts any skin shade's imperfections while creating a silky canvas/texture with the tiniest hint of sheen.

Sometimes I mix my Rose Petal Pink translucent powder w/this Violet powder to double the brightening effect. But the Ann Sui Violet powder is my go to product to super finely set & brighten my under eyes with my Wayne Goss Fan Brush.

For this to work on my (more seasoned) skin, I exfoliate well, tone, prime & moisturize before any powder touches my skin.

I use a fluffy brush or my Wayne Goss Fan brush to LIGHTLY powder the nose creases, the T-Zone & sweep quickly across the under-eyes. This powder really works great on the high cheek bone areas BEFORE highlighting, because highlighters usually Highlight Your Pores too...Not a pretty look on those Headlight cheekbones & nose tip. A Quick powder Prep to those high cheekbones & down the nose works at minimizing & blurring pores before highlighting those high points including the nose tip. (is that look still on trend?)

If you're looking at the color of this violet powder & thinking you don't have any of the previously mentioned complexion glitches, think of the wonderful scent and brightening effects.

If you're sensitive to fragrances, the gentle rose scent doesn't linger. This is one of those beautiful beauty staples that everyone should consider keeping on standby. It comes in a Purple container (nice for a vanity) that contains the powder, a powder screen/filter & a full size Anna Sui Lavender Powder Puff. I would & am repurchasing this item again & highly recommend this to all my Beautylish Beauty Buffs.

WonderLash Curler

I have used makeup for years. I attribute my Intense Newfound Curiosity & Love for all things related to Beauty as a journey. Simply Stated I'm a Makeup Aficionado, Junkie, Addict & Lover of any product that turns up the Beauty Volume. But Beauty tools (In My Past) were never in the spectrum of My Makeup Haze. For now I will focus on THE EYELASH CURLER which closely resembles a torture device but shouldn't be. I have used drugstore brands that make me cringe as I think of the pinching that sometimes happens or the rubber pads that don't fit correctly and leave a crimp in the lash. I already have thick lashes and usually have to curl them 2-3 times, which equates to more eye pinching & having to squeezing what feels like a piece of exercise equipment. The price for beauty....and that harsh lash crimp is not cool.

Anyhow I ordered KA's eyelash curler simply because I love his line of products and also viewed a tutorial on how a simple eyelash curler can make all the difference in opening up your eyes. Lo & behold I was blown away by how something as (insignificant..?) can make a huge difference in how our lashes look. Because not all curlers work alike. Surprise Surprise!

KA's eyelash curler actually fits into the circumference of my eyes, which is why it feels like it's actually conforming to the shape of my eyes. The 2 handles on his curler aren't widely splayed open like my Tarte Eyelash Curler (which really Pinches), but are together in a relaxed position. You have to open the handles apart to fit them around your lashes as opposed to other curlers that have you automatically squeezing them around the eyelashes. It doesn't leave a crimp either along with NO PINCHING! 🤓. A simple tip to a great lash: 1. Start w/curling lash for a few seconds, then 2. Move down a millimeter and curl there for a few seconds 3. Move down one last millimeter & curl for a few seconds ***It leaves a softer curl instead of a 45 degree crimp.

Fan of Kevin Aucoin's makeup

I consider KA's line of makeup to be one of my 3 favorites. I just purchased his bronzer in Matte Desert Nights & know the color may look dark in the picture, but it has red undertones that translate beautifully onto the skin. It applies in a sheer chestnut hue with a faint, very faint sheen that can be built up.

This bronzer adds color & a sun kissed warmth to my complexion & if your foundation is in between 2 colors & a bit too light, bronzing will warm it up through the hair line/forehead, cheeks and jawline.

It's a multi-function powder that can be used as a blusher, contour & bronzer! I lightly contour my nose & cheek bones & then lightly bronze my cheeks, forehead & jawline with a fluffy blush brush.

This compact comes with a mirror & can fit in your clutch or back pocket. The best part is it only takes a tiny amt to get a sun kissed glow. Loving this product...!

Supersonic Concealer w/Hyaluronic Acid & Jojoba Extract & Brightening Pearls

This concealer is "THE" best concealer in my collection of many brands. I have Nars, Tarte Shape Tape, (which is ok but w/a thick consistency, Tarte Rain Forest-dries my skin out, (Benefit -many of their formulas, none quite right), Clinique-streaky & IT brand which is decent but can crease and the list goes on. The moment I tried KA's Concealer on my skin I noticed how creamy it felt. It's most likely the fact that it contains Hyaluronic Acid (H20 Loving), Jojoba Extract & brightening pearls. I dabbed some on the back of my hand and used a pinpoint makeup brush to test the coverage on my face. One DOT covered a spot of hyper-pigmentation & set perfectly. I tested it again between my brows and defined the tops of my brows noticing again how just a little of this pigmented concealer goes a long way while blending beautifully.

Yes, the price point is a tad high, but the amt needed is minimal & it's awesome, which makes this product worth it to me. It isn't going to lay in a drawer next to the multiple tubes of dusty unused concealers.

FYI: Because of how the fall weather dries my skin out, I decided to experiment & mixed a tiny amt of Nivea "Cream" & KA"S concealer. It whipped together with no problems including no pigment changes. I applied this to my under-eyes, with just a super light touch of Ben Nye Rose Petal Powder and it lasted the night with just one touchup. I tried it a second time with no powder and The Urban Decay "All Nighter" setting spray. Homerun!! A seamless coverage That Lasted! This is now My #1 "Go To" concealer.

I Highly recommend this product to anyone who finds that their concealer leaves their skin dry, tight or creases easily. I was hoping for this positive outcome since I use Kevyn Aucoin's Etherealist Skin Illuminating Foundation which is just as incredibly wonderful.

NATASHA DENONA'S 2017 EYESHADOW HOLIDAY COLLECTION-GORG!

Of course Natalia Denona is one of my favorite artists who uses dramatic brush strokes. Her artistry is unique & I absolutely love her palettes. What sold me on these new ones is her commitment to her brand and customers. She tweaked the formula and produced an easier formula to work with, whether that's a brush or your finger. The red matte eyeshadow is so yummy! It reminds me of a Red Velvet Cupcake and the texture is buttery smooth, Just Gorg! I immediately felt the difference in texture between her Star Palette matte textures, (slightly dry, chalky) and even her previous 5 palette textures. ND made a video explaining that this new eyeshadow formula doesn't need to be applied with a finger (unless you prefer) but with a brush. This is basically a new formula she worked on to ensure an application that is silky smooth. We know that some of her Chroma colors flaked and didn't adhere to a brush. I found a foiled brush that did work with a bit of patience. Even if you don't feel you can pull off blue or red, swatch the shimmery light rose/champagne & salmon colors with a dab of her darker colors. The payoff is beautiful. Use a light hand & create a unique color. I will upload pictures at a later time. I just wanted to let the Beautylish community know if you love ND's palettes w/beautiful colors & quality, these are the 2-5 palettes for you.

Wayne Goss' Updated Eye Set

Wayne Goss TRULY understands the specific needs of his customers. His vision of creating & designing makeup brushes is practically Genius. Utilizing Top Artisans who spend hours creating the softest brushes & then continuing to perfect his brushes is the work of a Visionary. And these soft hairs don't underperform. Somehow they blend, contour, lay down color perfectly, smudge and fine line.

The Updated WG Eye Set is an almost complete departure from his previous EYE SET #16-20. For us beauty lovers who have smaller eyes, hooded eyes, deep sockets or even normal shaped eyes, this is the set for you. My eyes are almond shaped & hooded. I suppose I can attribute this to Mother Time/Nature. Aging gracefully and using these brushes (specific to my eye shape) has helped me create a higher crease and transition eye shadows wonderfully. The brushes are definitely more tapered with different lengths and diameters, geared towards really working the eye socket and crease without chafing or irritating my eyes. Sometimes with the back & forth movement of blending colors, I have experienced what feels like a rug burn. Any brush I'm sure if used long enough can do this but these perform quickly. My favorite is the #19 tapered brush which is somewhat similar to the WG#4 brush. The #19 actual hair portion is slightly smaller in diameter and length but blends out a seamless crease. Number# 17 is a longer tapered brush that can be used on a deeper set eye socket. Number# 16 is wider in diameter and can be used for applying contour, powder to small areas or highlighting the face. One new feature that I truly appreciate is the brighter embossed font with visible brush numbers. My older brushes weren't this bright. Aces all around for this collection. I feel as if I have 2 different EYE collections now. The previous dark hair, slightly scratchy Eye Set & this white super soft Eye set. Kudos Wayne Goss.!!!!!🖌🖌🖌🖌🖌❤️❤️

TOM FORD'S compact isn't worth the cost! PHOTOGRAPHS WELL, PERFORMANCE IS MEDIOCRE

This compact's inaccurate color representation (I didn't know Brown was a compact color or I wouldn't have purchased). The underwhelming pigment performance really disappointed me. The colors used dry are streaky & sheer. Wet the color and you do get a color but it's just not worth $20.00 a color and the compact brushes included cheapen the masculine compact.

SAVE YOUR MONEY, (Sorry Tom Ford) & perhaps buy Natasha Denona's STAR PALETTE. (Yes, she is priced on the high end but her FULL palettes) are worth the cost. Even her small palettes are way better than this TF compact.

Positive thought.🤔..I did love TOM FORD'S MOVE: NOCTURNAL ANIMALS...I certainly feel as if I financed a small fraction of that movie!😇
