Beauty Product Reviews
Insurance policy on hair staying frizz free and silky for three days.
At first I thought it was just a myth, but it's the real deal. I started using this product after getting a lob (long-bob) hair cut and it's been amazing. It's a cheap and easy way to ensure that your hair will stay frizzy free and silky for a few days. It doesn't feel heavy or texturize your hair in any way. There's no residue or oily slick left over once you fully blow-dry it out. I use this on damp hair after getting out of the shower, you could choose to air dry with this product but I find it's not as effective that way. Use as prep before blowdrying 100% and BAM, don't worry about your hair for a few days, it will look "just washed and styled" until you're ready to actually wash and style it. I have not used this product long enough to know if there are long term effects on hair health.
It's worth the hype and it's easy on the wallet.
It really is worth the hype, after hearing about youtuber's raving about this product, I had to try it. I got the set of two, and I'm barely half way through one of them a few months out. The product goes a long way with baking and for my skin truly does it's best to not crease over 6-8 hours. I will say, if you are on the oily side this product may not work for you as well as the Laura Mercier powder. I use this for baking but also as an all-over setting powder and it works beautifully, with a smooth and flawless finish, none of that feeling gritty or dry/powdery. I tend to use fluffier and less dense brushes to apply it all over the face, but it would work with any brush really. Using a fluffy brush is great for touchups if you get shiny. My only critique is the same as everyone else, the packaging is terrible, it looks like a kitchen spice and comes out like one too. I swapped it out and have been using a powder jar for it. If you choose not to swap out the containers, it works to pour it on to a clean, flat surface and stick your brush/blender into that.
