Ardency Inn Modster Smooth Ride ModeratelyCharged Eyeliner
I love Jaclyn Hill (YouTuber) and she swears by this eyeliner and says that it's the blackest, smoothest, and longest-wearing eyeliner she's ever used and I disagree on parts of that. So it is super black and does go on very smooth, but it wears off SO fast. It doesn't last on me but for a couple hours before it will appear as though I'd had it on for a whole day. I've also tried it on my top lashline and throughout the day I saw that it transferred and smudged. That being said for it being right around $20 and a bit more high-end I expected that it would beat out any drugstore eyeliner, but it definitely did not.
Koh Gen Do MaiExpensiveForNoReason
I heard tons and tons of beauty vloggers and what not rave about this foundation so despite the price I went ahead and bought it. Don't get me wrong the foundation is very pretty, gives for a very natural, skin-like finish and all, but my lanta the price! It is light coverage and really cannot be built up much and is nice if you intend to only have it on for a few hours. Again, it is a nice foundation, but for $64 "nice" does not cut it. I expected to be pretty impressed, but I have foundations for a hell of a lot less money that I reach for far more often than this one and I would not be willing to drop another $64 when mine runs out.
BECCA Aqua Greasy Imperfecting Foundation
I have tried and used many Becca products before so I thought I would love this, but that was not the case. I have dry skin so I thought this would be perfect for me seeing as it's luminous, however, I thought it made me look greasy and on top of the fact that the color match was off (my own fault) I ended up just looking muddy and dirty. For it being a water based & sheer foundation it takes FOREVER to work into the skin as though it should be a full coverage foundation, it broke up around my smile lines, and THE PACKAGING! It has a dropper and it is the messiest foundation I've ever owned. For the price you'd think you could get a pump on it, aside from the other problems I had with it the packaging alone is enough to make me not want to re-purchase it.
