The perfect foundation brush!

I recently upgraded to the full-size version of the Sonia G. Foundation Brush after falling in love with the mini version from the Mini Kayaki Volume 2 set. Let me tell you, this brush has quickly become my holy grail for flawless foundation application!

What stands out to me most is how seamlessly it blends foundation—no streaks, ever. The brush allows for versatile application, whether you're going for full coverage with tapping motions or light coverage using a sweeping motion. It truly caters to any look I want to achieve, and once I’ve applied all my cream and liquid products, I can lightly tap the brush to merge everything into a perfect, flawless finish.

The bristles are incredibly soft, and the unique blend of natural and synthetic fibers delivers the best of both worlds, providing effortless application with a silky feel on the skin. I also love the size; it’s the perfect balance—not too big, not too small—making it easy to navigate around the face, especially the eyes and nose, as Sonia G. promises.

I’ve ditched all my other synthetic foundation brushes in favor of this one, and it’s now my number one tool for a beautiful base. If you own other foundation brushes that look similar to this, trust me—this one is in a league of its own. You’ll have to try it to understand why it’s so special.

I can’t recommend this brush highly enough—if you’re looking for a foundation brush that delivers speed, perfection, and versatility, this is the one to get!

Perfect for the mini brushes set

When I saw that Sonia G had created a custom brush case for her mini brushes, I knew I had to purchase it. The quality is exceptional, as expected, and it perfectly fits all the Mini Keyaki brushes from Vol. 1 and Vol. 2. There's even enough space to include a small microfiber cloth for cleaning your brushes between uses.

Because this case is specifically designed for smaller brushes, it allows you to store them safely without the risk of damage or having them squeezed between regular-sized brushes. This thoughtful design makes it ideal for preserving the quality of your mini brushes.

I don't believe the Mini Niji brush will fit in this case, though I can’t say for certain since I wasn’t able to purchase it before it sold out. With both Mini Keyaki sets inside, the brush book is completely full, making it the perfect compact storage solution.

An elegant blush brush

I personally love smaller brushes for blush application, and the Sonia G. Traditions Face 2 has quickly become a favorite. Its ball shape allows for precise application, which is perfect for my preference of placing blush on the high points of my cheeks and blending upward toward my temples. This technique adds dimension to my oval face shape, and the TF2 delivers a beautifully blended, soft finish every time.

The quality of this brush is phenomenal. The Keyaki wood handle is stunning and feels incredibly comfortable in the hand, while the Saikoho goat bristles are luxuriously soft against the skin. Great for powder products such as Hourglass, and it’s excellent for applying blush and even for a light, natural contour with bronzer. That said, for an all-over bronzed look, I prefer a larger brush to achieve a more diffused effect.

Love it for targeted power application!

The Sonia G. Traditions Face 3 has quickly become my go-to for powder application, especially for setting my under-eye area and t-zone. I find the candle-shaped tip perfect for precise work—I load the powder into the bristles first on the palm of my hand and then gently apply it. The pointed tip works beautifully under the eyes, starting from the inner corner and blending outward for a seamless finish. Around the nose, it deposits powder evenly without any patchiness.

The softness of the brush makes it an absolute joy to use, and the craftsmanship is impeccable. The handle is well-balanced and comfortable to hold, while the bristles feel luxurious against the skin.

With Sonia G.’s brushes, you can’t go wrong—it’s all about finding the right brush to suit your makeup preferences. Whether you’re a powder enthusiast or love detailed precision, this brush is worth every penny.

Versatile Makeup Brush Set for on the go!

This brush set is fantastic for on-the-go makeup application! I love its versatility, allowing me to create anything from a simple, natural look to a more glamorous style. The set includes all the essential tools for a complete day-to-day routine. As someone who prefers a natural look, I often use bronzer and blush as eyeshadows for a cohesive, minimalist vibe. The jumbo base, jumbo worker, and detail brush work beautifully with liquid, cream, or powder products, offering flexibility based on your preferences. The soft face brush is perfect for applying bronzer or blush. I especially appreciate how seamlessly it works with the Hourglass palette, fitting perfectly and picking up product evenly.

For eyeshadow, the jumbo worker is excellent for a "one and done" application, while the crease brush blends everything effortlessly for a polished finish. Pro Tip: Carry a small microfiber cloth to keep your brushes clean and ready for use between applications—it’s a game changer!

Truly fundamental!

The name is the perfect description of this brush, it has truly become fundamental in my make up routine. My favourite way to use it is for applying setting powder in targeted areas for example under my eyes, eyelids, around the nose and between my eyebrows. When pinpoint concealing is perfect as well for applying enough powder to set it.

Further you can also use it to apply highlighter on your cheekbones or a very precise powder contour application.

You would not regret purchasing this brush! It will become fundamental in your makeup routine ;-)

The perfect brush for one and done eyeshadow, specially when you are in a rush!

I have also used to set my concealer under my eyes, apply highlight and under my brow bone.

I love it when I can use a brush for different purposes!

So versatile!

My general preference is smaller face brushes, this Soft buffer is a little gem that has become a favourite of mine. The application bronzer, blush or highlighter is so easy, it picks the perfect amount of product and allows me to place it exactly where I want it and buffing it inmediately!

Chic, elegant, top quality!

This is the most elegant travel set brushes I own - functional, versatile & with the Japanese craftsmanship of the details. I love how perfectly protected the hair bristles are (sooooo soft) I have no problem with the fact that they are light & might make a little rattle sound. The system is designed for on the go, perfection!! I use them exclusively for touch ups and they are now permanently in my handbag in a velvet small pouch that I have. They are a joy to use & see - the design on the handles is so feminine & so chic. Extremely happy with my purchase!

Best synthetic brushes ever!

Each brush in this set is unlike any synthetic brush I own, the performance, the ease of blending products (cream, liquid or powder) & the softness is just incredible! I am absolutely happy I have added this set into my WG brushes collection - they are essential in my everyday make up application & I treasure them as much as any of my natural hair brushes & such a pleasure to use them every day! Let’s hope Wayne will add more brushes to his synthetics line ;)
