Beauty Product Reviews
What a treat!
Beautiful handle, exquisitely decorated, the little character is so cute ! The brush itself is perfection. Dense, well balanced, it is a big powder brush, comparable in size to the Z1, and it is of course as soft as blue squirrel hair can be. This baby expands a bit after the first wash, but keeps it shape naturally and i found no hair shedding. I missed the one of last year, and I am very happy I have succeeded to purchase this one 😀
Exceptional for foundation and tinted moisturizer
I am impressed by the results obtained with this brush when applying IT cosmetic CC cream that is of thick consistency. With lighter texture it works also very well. No trace no streak! And so soft! It is much more efficient for liquids than foundation natural bristles brushes I have from Chikuhodo and WG. I prefer the result with this one. it allows a light hand which is everything I want and I like! Thank you Wayne for doing this brush !
Awesome!
I took my time before diving into Sonia G brushes but I am catching up fast! This big boy is incredible : extremely soft, very efficient, well built, handsome look, balanced perfectly. I am using it to blend everything on my face, in alternançe with my Tom Ford bronzer. I prefer the effect and the result ouf the SG as it is not as dense as the TF and it does not move things but just blend everything together
Very soft and pointy
This brush is very soft and does not irritate my eyes, in particular on the lower lash line. It is pointy so I use it to smoke shadows in the lash lines and I also use it to deposit colour under my lower lash line. It keeps it shape (I am using brush guards) although it is very soft. It is quite dense but it is airy and kind of fluffy at the same tile, which could seem contradictory but it is the best way I can describe. Therefore it can apply precisely dark eye shadow for example but it will blend it beautifully and quite precisely. It is one of the few brushes I can use along the lower lash line without making my eyes cry.
Viseart of course
After the discovery of this brand with the petite pro 1, I went on with this Libertine palette. I hesitated with other ones from the brand but the colour story of this particular one convinced me. I wanted something bold with some originality in the colours. I was afraid there would be some redundancy with the petite pro 1 as 5 colours seemed to be close, however the deep dark matte blue and the shimmery ivy green convinced me. I am glad I was convinced because this is a great palette. All colours are once applied exactly what they appear in the pan. The strong violet / magenta on the bottom raw is exceptional and this was a good surprise. The 5 colours that seem comparable to 5 of the petite pro 1 are definitely different. The cream colour is darker, the light brown is more earthy, the merlot is a real merlot not a red brown, and the shimmer wine has more pink in it. The quality is great, shadows are soft, creamy, pigmented, and easy to blend from a strong and bold application to a simple wash of colour. No patchiness to expect as these shadows are really homogeneous, even the dark mattes. I would not compare the shimmers to those of N Denona as these ones are most subtile and I think they complement each other, and this justifies why I have palettes from both brands !
Tiny but strong
This was my introduction into Viseart eye products to discover if these so much praised shadows would be giving me the user experience that on line reviews suggest. I will be honest : applying these eye shadows does not give you shivers. But i am not aware of any eye shadow that does that. I feel Viseart is making excellent products offering good colour payoff, good longevity, and extreme blendability capabilities. The colour story of the the petite pro 1 is very well thought. The mattes and the shimmers are comparably soft and easy to blend. The shimmers are luminous with no glitter. I love most particularly the deep pink at the extreme right and taupe on the extreme left. Both are beautiful and a pleasure to apply. You can do a variety of eye looks using this tiny palette, from everyday working day to more sophisticated smoky (the deep mat brown can be used as a liner as it is very dark and there is also an almost white matte shadow perfectly neutral so not pink but not yellow). It is so tiny that it is extremely easy and simple to toss it into a purse or a small makeup bag, its packaging seems to be framed to protect well the shadows, and the small mirror inside can help on the go. I would love to see more colours in similar size and I am therefore watching with a lot of attention the two upcoming new petite pro.
So soft and so beautiful !
This set is beautifully made, this is no surprise as it is from both Chikuhodo and Beautylish. The brushes are very soft, maybe a tad more than my other Chikuhodo sets, and the handles are stunning. The design on the handles seems durable which would be nice considering it’s beauty. The blue color is very similar to the one of the set La Neige from some years ago, utthe material seems different and also is lighter in weight. More comparable in that side to the purple and blue sets from Xmas 2017.
How fun it is!
I really enjoy playing with this palette. The metallic colours are really gorgeous and very intense, i would recommend a glitter glu to avoid getting them all around your face. The mats are very easy to blend, pigmented and very easy to work with. The staying power is really good on my normal lids even without a base. The choice of colours is very nice for summer season and you can have fun playing with all these pretty shades on the bottom row. It took me some time to realise that colours are different on your lid than in the pan, but when I got it, it made it much easier to use this palette. And surprisingly now I like orange and coral and pink on my eyes, when this was a « no way » before. I am very pleased, clearly.
Beautiful object
Having several of the best selling colours of this oh so well known highlighter from Becca in just one pan is a dream come true ! As expected, the quality is the Becca signature, the colours are great, the easiness to apply and the smoothness are fantastic. Icing on the cake, the black lacquered compact case is beautiful, elegant and discreet. This limited edition is a must have according to me.
