gentle, easy to use but not very effective

i receive this in lucky bag. it's the first i try indee lee's products. it has a fruity scent, which i am not a fan of. as it is used on wet face, i find it easier to use than other face makeup removers(which must be used on dry face). perhaps convenience compromises effectiveness. it is not able to fully take off my foundation, let alone eye or lip makeup. i need to use a foam cleanser afterwards to make sure my skin is thoroughly cleaned.

dry, and very dry

it came in the lucky bag. its the first time i try charlotte tilbury products. everybody raves about this brand so i had pretty high expectation. it's very similar to the balm's meet matte hughes. both products are very drying and within hours my lips are cracked. you definitely should put a lip balm underneath for this product to work.

dry and difficult to blend

it came in the lucky bag and i've never tried jeffree's products. nor am i a fan of his aesthetic. the pan is HUGE and contains 15g of products. however, the product is badly made as the pan tilted noticeably and it's difficult to fold the product. in terms of the actual product, the powder is very dry, chunky and difficult to blend. it emphasizes every pore on my cheeks.

it came in the lucky bag. it's the first time i try hylamide product. i dont usually use primer as i hate the siliconey feeling. but this is very different. its main ingredients is hyluaronic acid and it has a smooth and silky feel to it. i apply it around my nose and on my cheeks where dry patches are the most noticable. after applying foundation my skin looks flawless and flakes are nowhere to be found. it is my holy grail. will definately try more products from this brand.

i bought both palettes as a bundle(2 for 1) on 12 Dec. love the matte shades, which are smooth, very easy to blend and with almost no fallout. however , the metallic shades are a bit chunky and" in your face", which I personally dont think are wearable on a daily basis. wish there were more matte shades and larger mirrors . in terms of quality , the blue&purple one is slightly better.
