I got this as a splurge birthday present and I was prepared to be harsh on it because it is a lot of money but it really is spectacular. The color selection in the Dark Mattes palette is just divine. The sort of orangey yellow looks amazing on my blue eyes and I really do use this palette almost every day. The only slight drawback is if you want some shimmer the palette is obviously all matte but that was really a non factor to me.

Some of these shades work quite well, Courtney is a nice sort of crease shade, Expensive is nice enough, Star Power is the most vibrant pink I've ever tried but I don't see myself using that much. Confession is the only color really in here worth really using, I thought it was unique and creamy. Princess was not pigmented in color but has a nice sort of light sheen and is nice for a highlight. However Rich Bitch is the worst gold shade i have ever even touched. I have never in my life seen a shadow so stiff so not pigmented and ultimately useless. I got this in my Lucky Bag and I think it'll be fun to have but I cannot see ever spending real money on it.
