Beauty Product Reviews
great buy
I bought the purple stack and I use all three of the colors (brown, purple, and black) alternating everyday! They are my go-to gel liners and they work really nice for me, including in the waterline if I put an eyeshadow base under my lower lash line to keep it from smudging. I love these liners!
It was a great deal
I've owned this lipstick in the color Snowcone for several months after buying it for 2 dollars at my CVS. I find that this color is quite pigmented and is a great shade for my skin tone. However, there are a couple of downsides. One being that the packaging is absolute CRAP. It's always coming off in my makeup bag. That and the fact that the lipstick itself its almost clumpy, so I almost always need to wipe it down a little with a tissue. In the end though, I do enjoy this lipstick.
Great Base
I picked up a few of these a couple months at my Ulta ago after wanting some of these famous shadow pencils. Out of the four I purchased, I think that Yogurt was the best color for an everyday look, and worked great for me as a base. Considering I wasn't able to pick up Milk, the color I wanted the most, I feel that Yogurt is exceptional in terms of color, staying power, and the price is just really affordable.
Everything I expected!
After hearing all of the hype about the amazing Revlon Lip Butter, I expected a lot of great things from them. I finally got my hands on one yesterday, and the color Cotton Candy seemed a really great color for my skin tone in the season (fair, looking for a nice pop of color). The lip butter has really lived up to my whole expectations! It glides so smoothly over my lips and makes any rough spots immediately recede. It surprised me how much this actually reminded me of the MAC Sheen Supreme lipsticks, in terms of the feel of it on my lips and the color pay off. Unfortunately, they don't have the same delicious vanilla smell as the Sheen Supremes, but that may be the one real disappointment from this. All in all, I think the Lip Butters are amazing and hats off to Revlon for such an amazing product!
