Decent Scrub - lovely scent and flavor, but NOT comparable to GlamGlow

I am in love with Jeffree Star liquid lipsticks, so I had to order the lip scrubs to go with them as he recommends exfoliating with his scrubs prior to liquid lipstick application. I ordered two and the one I have been testing out is in the scent/flavor "Mojito".

To start with, the scent and taste is divine. I will say that this is my most favorite scent and taste in any lip scrub - ever! I wish he made the liquid lippies smell like this instead of root beer. YUM! Also, the convenience of being able to just lick your lips to clean up, as it is completely edible, is great when in a rush.

Now, I have seen and read people compare these to GlamGlow's lip scrub (which happens to be my favorite) and this was a big reason I purchased this lip scrub. It does not measure up, however. GlamGlow's lip scrub is way more emollient, providing plenty of slip and my lips feel moisturized even before applying lip treatment. It is not edible, I don't think and I usually rinse off with water.

I do liken these to the LUSH scrubs - in that they are a bit crumblier in texture and there is not as much slip. I do prefer Jeffree Star's to LUSH's however, as I find Jeffree Star's lip scrubs to be finer granules and not as dry/crumbly.

Great for the price and product amount though, which bumps it up a star. You get a very generous amount of product for the price, which I really like and the flavors and scents are very pleasant.

While it won't replace my GlamGlow lip scrub like I was hoping, I will continue to use and re-purchase to add into the rotation as a more cost efficient and fun option. I am curious about the other flavors too and want to try the Pumpkin Spice Latte flavor come fall.

Gorgeous Palette!

I contemplated a while before purchasing this palette as I had seen a few reviews on YouTube singing praises about it. At the time, they were only available on Natasha Denona's website and I was hesitant because of the cost. It didn't matter anyway, because it was always sold out on the site.

Once I heard Beautylish was taking pre-orders and also offered split payments (they break your total up into 3 payments, interest free and they send you the product right away too!), and knew that they had amazing customer service...well, I figured I would take the plunge and try it out.

The palette is GORGEOUS. I mean so beautiful. Color pay off is rich and the size of the pans is generous. I barely had to tap onto the shadow to get high pigment. Wowsa!

Although expensive, breaking up price per oz, came out comparable to MAC or MUG and less than ABH. With the flex pay it makes it a bit more easier to swallow and I found it reasonable.

The only critique I would have to say is that it definitely is not an all inclusive palette and at this price point, the casual makeup lover might want that after shelling out this kind of money - price breakdown justification or not. But in all fairness I don't think it was meant to be an all inclusive palette. What it is lacking are many mattes, so you do need to have some in your stash already that you can use as transition colors. My recommendation - The Viseart matte palettes! I purchased Neutral Matte, Dark Mattes and Editorial Brights to go along with my ND palettes and they are a match made in heaven. With these together, you have an infinite amount of looks in your arsenal.

Now I can understand that after spending $239, you might not want to drop more money on matte palettes, even ones as awesome as Viseart, but I'd say that most makeup junkies have transition colors in their arsenal already. But because of this, I deducted one star. Also, the packaging does the job and I personally like it, but I can also see the point that others make that it's not as luxe as they hope.

I definitely think it is worth the money. It was so beautiful, that after getting my first one, I went online and promptly ordered the other. I'm so jelly of the people that got one in their lucky bag!! It is definitely not a necessity, but if you can afford it, go for it. You can get a myriad of looks with these and they are some of the most beautiful, pigmented shadows.

Cult Favorite

Liquid lipstick has been such a hot trend lately and Jeffree Star makes some of my favorite ones. With so many color options, there is bound to be something for everyone. I personally have amassed quite a few in my collection and they are one of the ones I reach for most frequently. Androgyny was my first JS liquid lippie purchase. I bought one for myself and one for my sister and we were both hooked on to them after that.

The doe foot applicator has a divot in it that collects the product, allowing complete application for me with one dip. Occasionally, depending on the color, it grabs too much product and I have to wipe some away on the rim. The formula also benefits from a good shake prior to application, as some settling occurs in shipment and also in storing. Shaking right up fixes it.

Some people have commented on unpleasant scents with theirs. As I've recently only gotten into his lippies this year, almost all of mine have the rootbeer scent (which is not my favorite, but it is pleasant enough) or no scent at all. I'm not sensitive to scents so the rootbeer is not a problem. I thankfully have not had any with an offensive scent.

Wear time is great with minimal to no touch ups for me in this color Androgyny and most other colors as well. I sometimes touch up several hours later for darker colors. The colors are not kiss proof, but fade well at least even if they transfer, requiring little to no reapplication at that time. Androgyny was darker than I had expected, even knowing that liquid lippies typically dry a bit darker than in the tube. It is however, a gorgeous color and deserving of its cult following.

Beautylish is incredible - I have my lippies on hand in 2 days of ordering and the packaging is superb!! Totally catering to the makeup obsessed who need their makeup NOW. I always get my lippies faster from Beautylish than the Jeffree Star website.

My only complaint - that the shade Hoe Hoe Hoe was limited edition. It released prior to me getting into the brand and I would just be on cloud nine if it could be available again. :D

Holy grail of Glitter Glues!

I don't think love is strong enough of a word to express my affection for this glitter adhesive. Seriously - this is a game changer. I love glitter polish and accessories, but I never bothered with cosmetic glitter for my face because who has time for the mess of the fall out?

Well, you don't have to worry about that with this ladies and gents. It is seriously AMAZEBALLZ. and SO easy to use. You dip into the adhesive, into the glitter and pat onto your eye and voila - Glitter Glam Gorgeousness!!!!

It lasts all day, doesn't crease, doesn't stray - it's just awesome. I can't even being to tell you how excited I am that I can now incorporate glitter into my looks without worrying about having a mess on my face. Check out Lit's glitters too as they're gorgeous, come in a huge variety of colors and even SIZES (my personal faves are Size 2 and 3 and if I love a color, I will order it in both sizes!).

The Dream Team of Glitters!

The Lit Kit is all in one for your glitter needs. I love love love the glitter adhesive and have been using it for even my pigment polishes!! It works like a dream in applying the glitter with NO fall out. Seriously. Miracle working. If you have been shying away from glitter bc you are wary of the mess, you can now enjoy your glitter, mess free! The brush works well in packing the glitter on! I just wipe off before re-dipping. ;) I love it so much, I promptly ordered the large bottle.

The colors are awesome and I love that they come in a variety of sizes depending on the effect you are going for. Highly highly recommend Lit.

I absolutely LOVE this glitter by Lit Cosmetics. It is such a beautiful effect and SO easy to apply. The glitter base is amazeballs and keeps it on all day. I get so many compliments every time I wear this or any one of these brand's glitters. After getting my first package, I loved it so much, I promptly ordered 8 more and the large size of the glitter adhesive. I know I'll be back for more.

This one is a clear almost duochrome colored glitter that adds dimension to any shadow it's layered over! This is perfect for the summer!!

I love the different sizing options too!! S2 and S3 are the 2 sizes that are my favorite and what I wear from the line. I buy both sizes in the same colors for my favorites! I just use whichever size depending on how much drama I want. Highly, highly recommend Lit!! <3

I absolutely LOVE this glitter by Lit Cosmetics. It is such a beautiful effect and SO easy to apply. The glitter base is amazeballs and keeps it on all day. I get so many compliments every time I wear this or any one of these brand's glitters. After getting my first package, I loved it so much, I promptly ordered 8 more and the large size of the glitter adhesive. I know I'll be back for more.

I love the different sizing options too!! This color in the S2 size was sparkly enough for a beautiful oomph, but I would wear this for everyday too!! I also recommend the S3 size for even more ooph!!! Those 2 sizes are my favorite and what I wear from the line. I buy both sizes in the same colors for my favorites!
