Not Worth It
Wet n Wild is an awesome, affordable drugstore brand. So while looking for a more easily accessible alternative to Milk by NYX, I decided to pick this up. It was only 99 cents-and it's not even worth that.
It smudged and migrated after ten minutes (but stayed put for 8 hours after that). It was neither bright nor subtle. It looked more muted on the waterline, where it also wore impressively, but it was tricky to get to show up there. It worked decently as a primer, but the richness it added to the shadow didn't last-the liner as a base faded after about 5 hours.
This product was a steal and you get a lot for the price, but it'ts just too difficult to work with to justify a repurchase.

Mixed Feelings
Burn is a gorgeous, cinnamon-y red with lovely golden shimmer. One swipe is enough to last all day (six hours, plus 3 hours of staining). It's a sexy, confident, alluring shade that just screams self-assurance!
However, there's trouble in paradise. This shade is so, SO drying. It has that clingy feeling on the lips one usually associates with mattes. While the product is on, it's tolerable, but it generally devolves until your lips are crying for balm after the stain wears off (mine were chapped and flaking off after nine hours of wear).
The packaging is very nice for drugstore, and while there is a candyish scent, I find it enjoyable. The shade is stunning and the wear is impeccable. If only this didn't feel like such a nightmare after all-day wear! I really want to love it, but the lack of moisture is a huge drawback. Lip balm is mandatory to pair with this.

HG!! I absolutely love this mascara. I had heard a lot about it, and wanted to invest in something with prestige to make my itty bitty lashes visible. I wanted to try it at the Lancome counter at my local Macy's but the tube was dried up, so I went out on a limb and purchased it anyway.
I immediately noticed how large the tube is. Because there's so much product in it, I can (sort of) justify buying it for US$25. When I applied it, I literally said "wow!" because of the fluid application; the formula goes on so smoothly (not great if you complain about "wet" mascaras, even though this dries nicely without smudging/flaking at all, or giving your lashes a crispy feeling--it feels very natural). Also, without curling my invisible lashes, this product makes them longer and a little more dense. With a curler, they're mind-blowingly improved. Hypnose also wears for an incredibly long time; I have the not-waterproof formula and it still lasts me a little into the next day.Apart from the fabulous formula and texture, the wand is also perfect: not too large, or small, shaped normally, the bristles aren't too thick or far apart.
I'm absolutely in love with this product. I've had it for three months with almost daily wear and there is still plenty in the tube, and it has not dried out at all. But when the time comes, I will definitely repurchase, over and over again. <3
I recieved an extra small sample if this famous primer in my UD Book of Shadows Volume III. I always kind of dillydallyed with it, because primer never seemed like something important to use--I figured if the shadow/liner was good quality, why would you need a primer?
I was having mixed feelings about UD shadows (some have a lot of fallout) so I decided to swatch them on my hand with the primer to see how the color would improve and how long it would stick. The shadow did NOT budge, for 16 hours, including a shower. I was very impressed; the formula goes on smoothly and stays on ALL day long (although I think the angled wand is a little weird :/). The shadows appear much more vibrant over it and it totally removed the problem of fallout.
If I end up wearing more extravegant looks out in public (not just on youtube) I would definantely repurchase!
