Another reason I love Tarte

Recently, there was a sale to buy one get one (or as some like to say, bogo) free. So I bought two and have 4! That's how much I love this stuff. It lengthens, gives my lashes some volume in one swipe! Plus my lashes have started to look a lot better after a few weeks of use. Btw, the waterproof one is pretty darn waterproof.

I think the colors complement the whole "pirates" and "Caribbean" theme well I have this in mermaid's tears and skull and glossbones. I got mermaid's tears because I've been looking for a seafoamy green color and I liked the name (lol) this is as close as I've gotten. Skull and glossbones is just a nice shade of gray, like a "candy pastel" neutral grey that goes grrrreat under some black shatter polish! Try it!

Not for dry skin or sensitive skin.

It burns for the first minute or two...it's a little unbearable! I'm worried that continued use will harm more than help. After I wash it off my skin feels drier than it originally was, tight, and I feel like if I don't put moisturizer on right away I'm gonna get dry patches. I'm really thinking about any positive things here, but I really can't think of any except it's a great mask to use to unwind after a long day. I now only use it during the time of the month when I start breaking out. After it's done, I'm done with this product.

Great cleanser!

So I got this during the holidays and it's running out :( I don't know what I'm gonna get to replace this. I use it when I want gentle exfoliation in the morning so I'm not sure how it fares against makeup. This doesn't dry out my face either. My only gripe, which really isn't a major issue is that it's kinda messy, as it leaves "chunks" in my sink when I'm done.

I want them all!

They stay on all day. I even accidentally went to the gym (oops!) with it on and realized I had blue eyelids. It's really slick and creamy so I usually have to go over my lids only once because I can definitely see what I just applied cause it's highly pigmented!

Perfect summer primer

Very lightweight and smooth. Builds the perfect base for my look...but man the smell is horrible! I was ready to return it once I got a whiff...it smells like rotten fruit to me, but don't let that shy you away as you might not as repulsed as I was.

Nowadays I'm over the smell because it is really good in the hot weather and I still look acceptable by the end of the day. I even use this alone when I don't have time for makeup and I want my skin to look smooth.

I like it.

This does an ok job of covering my dark circles. It gets the job done. It does go on like butter, and doesn't sink into my lines. This is my first concealer ever, so I'm not sure how it compares to other concealers so this might not be my concealer of choice in the long run but it works for now.

I really was afraid to try this cause I thought it would dry out my skin and cause I bought it during winter time. However, I was amazed by the fact that my skin didn't feel dry after using this. On top of that, it keeps my occasional break out under wraps. No more apricot scrub for me!
