Smoothing Daily Cleanser

This felt like putting lotion on my face that wouldn't wash off. Which *is* the purpose of this cleanser and was why I bought it but I just can't make myself like this stuff. :(

+ You won't need a moisturizer after using this. + FANTASTIC ingredients. This has no "fillers" and the formula is very concentrated. + Washed off all of my makeup. (But nothing I use is waterproof anyway)

- Left my face feeling greasy in most places but somehow I still had slight flakiness in others. - During the evening I could *feel* it still on my face. I was hoping the greasy feeling would go away after a few hours but I just felt dirty even through the next day (and I've used pure coconut oil before as a moisturizer and it didn't bother me). :( - I don't like the smell, but that's just a personal quirk I guess.

I can't comment on the brightening because I didn't use it for long enough. Maybe someone else will have better luck than I did with this!

This is a wonderful creamy cleanser that smooths the skin. It works well with a Clarisonic Mia. It may not be for everyone, especially if you have oily skin, but it works well on my sensitive skin.

Okay, okay, I'll admit I'm ridiculous. At my age, there's probably not much reason to worry about signs of aging, except that my super-dry skin is more prone to wrinkling than most skin-types, and my family tends to develop certain distinct creases before our time. And I refuse to allow that to happen.

But being ridiculously allergic to SLS and mindful of parabens and natural ingredients, I decided to give this a shot. The scent is almost like fresh honeysuckle flowers, or maybe delicate fruit skins, but not overly fruity. I kind of expected this to be bright purple or blue or some fruit colour, but it's perfectly while, and kind of a milky-creme texture. It's very smooth and kind of disappears into the skin after application, but you can tell where its been applied thanks to the somewhat slippery texture. It rinses clean and leaves skin feeling super-soft.

In the few weeks I've been using this, I have noticed somewhat diminished pore appearance and all-around improved skin texture, but I'm not sure it's all entirely due to this cleanser since I've also started using the Clarisonic MIA twice a day. But I will continue to use this cleanser and track the results, and will be going back for the corresponding moisturizers and the aforementioned "intensive repair serum"...
