Nice small palette
I've really enjoyed my naked 2 basics. It's the only naked palette I have but I use it so many different ways- as eyebrow filler, to create a smoky or neutral eye, and as a base for other colors. The darker shades look great under purple or blue & blend out very well
The shades weren't the best. I don't recommend this for someone who is looking for a great all in one pallete. There is no white shade, and the few middle shades are very taupey and grey toned. The eyeshadow quality was amazing, as all urban decay eyeshadow.
What you'd expect
This palette is what you'd expect from Urban Decay- hold the glitter. It's finely milled to the point of powdery. There will be a lot of fall out unless you tap your brush off first.
If you love taupe mattes this is your new best friend!
I resisted buying this for a while. I love bright vibrant shimmery colours and want to rock a blue smokey eye for as long as I can so it wasn't an obvious winner for me. But I love it now. It's so perfect for blending out your smokey eye in a seamless way. The colours on their own are so lovely and blendable.The texture is so soft and easy to work with which I've always found unusual for a matte eyeshadow. I like wearing frisk on my lid and cover on the crease for work and have so many compliments on it. It's very flattering for blue/grey eyes. A great little helper for bigger brasher palettes!
love the cooler tones!
i got the original naked basics palette and could never get into using it, but this one i made a dent in within a month of buying it! i really like the cooler tones in this palette for my complexion. i feel like they're really easy to work with and it looks relatively natural.
Wish their was a a whit toned color because thier is only a cream thier is this really ugly grey that I hate and an ugly brown I don't recommend so don't waste your money I would buy the naked 3 a little more money but worth it in the end
