Hairbrush

first off, i've never owned or tried a mason pearson brush before so i can't compare the two. however, i CAN compare it to my other brushes (i've tried pretty much every form of brush) and i definitely like this one the best. i really feel like it brushes each strand out without snagging/breaking them. i also feel like using this brush gives me more volume and shine than other brushes. the one bad thing about this is the smell. it has such a strong plastic/chemical smell that i actually had to breathe through my mouth to avoid getting a headache when i used it. it smells like cancer- straight up. i tried washing the brush with soap and water to try and remove the smell, but barely touched it. i've had it for about 6 months now and the smell still lingers, but it's no where near as bad as when i first bought it.
