Pretty and practical!
Sonia's little towels are super practical, and I always keep one at my vanity. Folded with the motif side out, they look quite decorative. After each use I wipe my brushes with the microfiber side, which allows me to quickly switch between different shadows with the same brush, as well as drying brushes used with liquid makeup for keeping them more hygienic. I machine wash the towels on a gentle cycle, and then carefully stretch them back into shape before air drying them.
Completing the ritual
If you enjoy the experience of Fude a microfiber towel is essential. This is obviously not necessary, but if applying makeup is a ritual for you, these beautiful towels will elevate the experience. I got a couple of the previous design (blue/orange) and much prefer this release with the blue/red colors. The quality is the same. The microfiber side is soft but solid, easy to clean and has retained its shape through many washes (I hand wash these). Meanwhile my (much cheaper) Hakuhodo towel is falling apart...
I love these! I’ve always used microfiber towels for my brushes so that’s nothing new to me. I’ve tried many over the years but usually go back to my tried and true basic ones. Cheap and useful for sure, just not very pretty! Most of the decorative ones Hakuhodo’s included are cheaply made or just aren’t functional, not to mention pricy for what they are. These are well made, functional and pretty. Price wise they could be a bit cheaper but all in all I’m very happy with the ones I have.
So useful
I wanted to get this microfiber towel for traveling because I thought it would be handy to be able to spot clean when I didn't have all my normal cleaning supplies, and could also reduce the number of brushes I felt like I needed to bring. I was amazed how much product the towel removes from brushes without any cleanser at all! I could especially tell on some of my white bristle brushes, because they looked so bright. I was able to use the same brush for deepening the crease with a dark shade and then once I brushed it on the towel, it was ready again to help blend my browbone highlight without muddying it up.
I admit, I used to "brush off" extra product on the palm of my hand, but that deposits oils from my skin onto the bristles and also got my hands messy, this is a much better option. I will use this at home as well as traveling, such a useful item!
The printed material also feels so lovely, and I love the cute bunnies. Now I want both colors!
Soft and useful
Perfect cloth to clean brushes after each use. Feels soft to the touch and kind to the brushes. I liked it so much that purchased another to always have a clean one available. The illustration is beautiful. Hope Sonia comes up with new ones in the future.
