Hinoki Set

The hair quality and the bundling, the functionality all is superb. These brushes deposit the sheen from Suqqu blushes in a way that no other brush in my collection does. I thought I wouldn't like or use the small brush very much. Boy was I wrong. It is amazing for blush. Love the bigger brush so much as well but if I could buy backups of the small one I would for sure. This set is simply amazing.

Before anybody assumes that is operator error. I have had hundreds of brushes over the last 25 years of wearing makeup. I know how to wash brushes properly. I've never had anything like this happen. The shedding on the larger brush in the set is ridiculous it I cannot use it. It's unusable the smaller one. I use very very carefully and very sparingly and only in one highlighter because I cannot wash it. I was so bummed. This is the only item by this designer that I have and I wish I loved it. I wanted to love it. I tried but I cannot even use them.

This set is one of my greatest Fude regrets. I love the larger brush for bronzer use, However, both times I have used this brush, it shed like crazy. So far I have just stored it away. Ended up taking it out today, just running it across my hand and it shed 7 hairs. For the price, this is a disappointment.

The two brushes are extremely beautiful and it’s a pleasure using them❤️ But the big brush don’t stop shedding even after months of having it

I have been giving these a fair run for about 5 months. These unfortunately have never stopped shedding for me. I'm used to floating hairs and a few shedding here and there throughout the life span of a brush. But I have a lot of natural hair brushes and I've never experienced shedding on this level. It's a shame because the brushes themselves are absolutely stunning and the saikoho bristles themselves are silky soft. But since they are not the densest brushes, I feel that they can't ''afford'' to shed as much as they have been doing. So these were a flop for me unfortunately.

Estas brochas son para coleccionistas tienen un diseño hermoso y lujoso, el pelo es super suave es un placer usarlas, lo unico negativo es que tiran mucho pelo, ya es la segunda vez que las lavo y parece que ya tiran menos, yo solo las voy a usar para polvos pues el pelo es demasiado fino para usarlos con cremas. El diseño de las cabezas de las brochas me encanto y se me hizo muy original en mi coleccion.

I purchased this brush after reading some reviews. My expectations were not that high as I thought this set may be similar to other brushes that I recently purchased. I have to say, that I'm so glad I got the set as the brushes are very special and their performance is somewhat different than other brushes, specially the small brush, it has a peculiar craftmanship and the bristles are soft but with certain resistance that makes a product application flawless. I tried it with setting powder, with blush, bronzer, highlighter and the results were always amazing. I'm extremely happy with this little wonder. The big brush is dense and soft, the bronzer application is superb and for setting or finishing powder, this brush does the task in a breeze. in addition, the delicate design , structure and color combination makes this set a must have.

I am in love with these 2 brushes. Super soft and versatile. I highly recommend. I picked up 2 of them I like it so much.

I love Sonia G brushes…I immediately fell in love with the set when I saw the pic.. I like the shape and the softness of them. However, I’m a bit disappointed because they shed pretty bad and the the bristles blow open on the side.. even after I washed 2 times…not sure if I should pull these off?

Definitely my best set of the year! The brushes are of top quality and creative shapes, can be used with highlight, blush, bronzer, or anything you want. A splurge but worth it.
