Ummm..
This is a good brush BUT it is extremely overpriced. It was recommended by nikkie tutorials so I bought it and although it’s a good brush, it started to fray with the first wash. The brush cleaner I was using was one I have used for awhile and it didn’t do anything to other brushes. I don’t know if this happened to anyone else but just beware.
Best highlighting brush ever!
I have never seen a highlighter perform so well all because of a brush! If I use another brush it doesn’t look anywhere near as good. Picks up the right amount of product and distributes it perfectly. I love the fact that the Rae Morris brushes are magnetic also, something different! They are extremely high quality brushes and I don’t mind spending that bit extra for a brush that does in fact make a huge difference to how your make up looks. I can’t wait to get the rest of the collection now.
EXTREMELY OVERPRICED
It’s cute, very small, shaped like a rosebud, has that gimmicky little magnet at the bottom. I only bought it because Nikki tutorials was raving about it for months. She even used it on Kim Kardashian and it made Kim Kardashian’s awful KKW beauty products look good. So I bought it. Lays any highlighter on the skin beautifully and it’s like the brush almost melts the product on skin to give the most beautiful finish effortlessly. However! There is nothing this brush can do that the Anastasia A23 cant do ( albeit with a bit more effort). I have decided to keep this brush and not return it because I appreciate the Japanese art and craftsmanship behind it amd would not want a perfectly good brush to go to waste. The brush also has a new celebrity wow factor that it has received due to the Nikki Kim K YouTube collaboration. It also appeals to the little kid in me since the brush is tiny and playful. I do know why Rae made them magnetic but her needs as a professional makeup artist working quickly in tight spaces is different than my situation. If I had the choice to make this purchase again I would NOT and if I loose or damage my brush in a few decades (I’ll be sad that I lost/damaged an expensive brush) but I will not replace it.
such a shame...
i bought this brush when it was 38 $, im not sure how the price went up on all of her brushes. it was nice at first but it fell apart after 2 months! this was so dissapointing and never happend to me with any other brushes- that ive own for years !
Excellent Kabuki -
I am glad I added this to my makeup "arsenal". It is very versatile. It is excellent for highlighting and so soft to not move the the makeup underneath. It can be used for contour as well and blush. But I prefer the larger Rae Morris Kabuki (from Rae Morris's previous brush line) for the blush and bronzing. I purchased the frame from a sale on Rae Morris's site and love the magnetic feature of these brushes.
Absolutely amazing
This is by far the best tool I have used to apply highlighter. After numerous mentions from NikkieTutorials, I thankfully found it on here for a solid $30 or so cheaper than Rae Morris’s actual website. I bit the bullet and I don’t regret it one bit.
It picks up a great amount of product on its super soft bristles, and blends every sort of highlighter beautifully. My only draw back is the handle is a little on the shorter side, but never the less, a great tool.
I may want to pick up a few more brushes from Rae Morris. I’m genuinely impressed.
Great addition to my collection
This brush became my favorite one to apply highlighter on my cheeks. I really recommend it if you like precision applying your product. It is very easy to use and it is very soft to the skin as well. This is my first purchase from this brand but I am glad with my purchase.
