Ceramic Styling Tool

I purchased this styler from the Canadian authorized retailers (ivylux.ca) and am absolutely in love! My hair has never looked healthier or shinier. I first saw this at IMATS and was unable to afford it at the time. I finally caved and got it during their black friday online sale and am so so so happy I did! Don't think twice, you can use it for so many hairstyles from curly to straight to waves its incredible.

I'm pretty disappointed of this tool. At first it works perfectly fine! I'll just admit this but one day I completely lost control of my temper and my straightner was laying on my bed (unplugged) I DON'T KNOW WHY! I grabbed it and threw it on the floor and shattered into a million pieces. I got in shock what I did cause I never do things like that anyway but the fact that this was an expensive product made me feel guilty as soon as it hit the floor. Thankfully it comes with the warrenty thing. Got a new one. Accidently fell off the counter and shattered a piece off. I still use it like that. But I was dissappointed how easily it breaks when the fall isn't as hard. I have a Sally's straightner and that has fallen too and hasn't broken. Then after awhile I don't know if it's the heat spray I spray before styling that has made the sides really dirt that when I style it pulls hard on my hair and the plates don't feel as smooth when I first got it. It's a waste of money. I usually curl my hair with it and I don't like how the curls get smaller after repeating the process. TJ Max, Target tools work and last longer than this one. Thumbs down.

I had no snags like I usually did with my old iron, and I didn’t have to go over my hair more than twice which is perfect. I LOVED the fact that it is 100% ceramic, and not just a thin coat meshed in with a whole bunch of other random materials. I feel more secure that my hair is being treated with the best care that way. And the pink and black polka dot pattern is really cool, win win.
