I've been through about 4 different types of dry shampoo as I have gone through so many different hair colors (pink, purple, red, etc.) and I have to be able to restrain from washing my hair so much. I gave this product a try and it is SO expensive for the amount of use you get out of the can. I tend to have oily hair at the roots, especially by the crown of my head and my bangs so I need a dry shampoo that really works. Not only did my hair still look greasy after a couple of hours, this product weighed it down and left it dull. I don't recommend it for the price or for the product's quality.
People rave and I boo.
So I went to Sephora one day and remembered I had needed some dry shampoo. This was recommended to me by the staff and at check out the girl at the register said "OMGAH I LOVE THIS STUFF" or something to that effect to make me think that I was buying a good product. 1) for the price, there is not much product. 2) It leaves residue that supposedly rubs out but does not and you have to pick it out if you have the time otherwise people will say that you have dandruff for the remainder of the day. The reason I chose this over the other was because it was bigger and it smelt like coconuts which was nice.
Blah. Sephora girls, you steered me wrong. I am sticking to TiGi Rockaholic dry shampoo. The smell to me is better even though its citrus like, but it doesn't leave that horrific flaketastic mess in my hair!
works very well for me.
this was the first dry shampoo i ever tried, and still remains my favourite after trying at least ten others, in all different forms, i.e spray, powder, mousse, etc. this not only made my hair look absolutely clean [i find most dry shampoos simply just revive the hair while eliminating a little bit of grease] but it added nice body to it as well its a bit on the pricey side seeing as how baby powder works very well for me as well, ha ha, but i quite like this product.
I wanted this product because I don't wash my hair everyday and it does get greasy quite fast. It does absorb the oil giving my hair a bit of it's volume back, but it leaves some kind of white residue and I can't really rub it out. I find that it smells nice, but it leaves my hair feeling weird. I don't know how to explain the feeling, not sticky but I don't know like a powdery feeling... anyway, i don't like it.
Not as good as it sounds...
I used this product due to my ridiculously oily scalp. I have dry ends, so washing my hair everyday isn't an option. I'd opt to wash only my top half of my head which still meant I had to blow dry and flat iron my hair. I have naturally wavy hair- yes odd for a Korean I know.
I'd have to use quit a bit of this product to get the non-oily look I wanted. You have to spend a good amount of time (depending on the color of your hair) to blend the white powder into your hair. Plus the bottle doesn't last since you have to use a lot. I found the scent too heavy, a big no-no for me.
