It’s ok. I’ve been using this daily for a solid 6 months & have not noticed a single thing. It is a nice moisturizer, but not for the cost. I will not be repurchasing. I will say you do only need like 1/2 - 1 drop per use, so the product literally lasts for a very long time.
Amazing
I love this product. At first i wasnt too sure but after a week of using i was blown away by how soft it made my lips feel. how moisturizing it was for hours!. i now have a back up bottle.
Serious problems
I was expecting to like this, given my great experiences with The Ordinary and NIOD. And it has made my lips smoother, and did so immediately.
The problem is the smell and extremely bitter taste of this product are literally nauseating, and after one full week of twice daily use despite that, my lips are chapped and dry. If anything they're worse.
Finally, the warning to wash hands after using freaks me out. I'm putting this on my LIPS, and I'm supposed to wash it off my hands?
In short, yes, it dramatically smoothed my lips, but didn't hydrate or heal them. It's bitter. It smells awful.
I've been using this product for more than 6 months - at first every day and then after a few months about 4 time a week. Does it add volume - not appreciably, but it does add moisture, softens my lips and allows me to wear matte lipsticks which as more drying without any problem. I used to used lip balm constantly, but hardly need it anymore. One ingredient - methyl nicotinate increases blood flow (vasodilation) slight volume enhancement and skin conditioner - slight tingling sensation on the lips, but it can irritate more sensitive skin around the lips - hence the recommendation to wash hands after application, especially if you are applying other skincare products with finger tips. Product has collagen boosting peptides and antioxidants, among many other cutting edge ingredients. Would I but this again - absolutely - lips are softer, way fewer lines.
