Got them 'for free', not worth a single Euro! :(
Honestly, these brushes are rubbish! I got them as part of the payment for a make up job for Mary Kay (FYI Pink Carpet event in Hamburg, Germany in 2012) together with a whole Kit and I threw them away directly afterwards. The brushes are bad quality (shedding hair, bad smell, not well bound, uneven head) AND they scratch even though I washed them before the job! (BTW, the smell got even worse when they are wet!) I don't remember the price but I did check when I got them an I was shocked... there are decent drugstore brands for a lot less!
Good for beginners.
My aunt gave me the MK brushes a long time ago for Christmas, and they are good. There isn't much variety, but for a beginner in makeup they are really good. Now, however, I want more brushes that can help me achieve more complicated looks, but these brushes just aren't made for that. They're simple, but I'm ready for something more!
i like the brushes, but what i have noticed over time is that they hair start to shed. i would not say that i prefer these over the eco tools brushes, but i do like bag that it comes in and the crease brush is probably my favorite brush b/c it gets right into the crease ( probably b/c of the way its made). the crease brush is tapered like a dome, but the tip of it is a little harder than the other bristles b/c it gets right into the crease.
