Seaweed Cleansing Lotion

This is a must-have toner for those of you with combination skin. It's especially great for fall and winter, when my T-zone tends to get really oily and the sides of my face gets really dry. It's an alcohol-free toner so it doesn't dry out my skin too much. I use this twice a day after cleansing and before moisturizing. Compare to other Mario Badescu products, the scent is not strong at all and it's actually quite pleasant.

I only started using this because I received a sample, and it's been so good that I've actually foregone my other toners in favor of this one. I have sensitive, blemish-prone skin and I like Mario Badescu products because the ingredients are typically minimal and natural so I know exactly what I'm using. This formulation is alcohol-free so it doesn't strip my skin, and the witch hazel has been more effective on my blackheads than anything else I've tried; the seaweed and aloe are gentle and nourishing so my face feels clean and soothed, but never dry or tight. I don't find the smell strong at all, in fact I like that it's not perfumed. Above all, my skin likes it, so it stays :)

A good everyday toner. I have combination sensitive skin and I like to use this if I'm not sure I got all my makeup off with my cleanser. I don't mind the smell, but I wouldn't recommend this for drier skin types.

I received a sample of this product from Ulta when I purchased Mario Badescu products. After 4 uses, I stopped using it. Reason being that it had an overpowering fragrance that I did not particularly like.
