I have used this as highlighter and haven't been able to notice a shimmer as much as I'd like. The pigment that comes off with the shimmer is much darker than my skin so I have to blend it in after using the papers which makes the convenience of having it on the papers, well, less convenient. I do like using half a sheet on my eyelids for a simple look and some shimmer. I'm sure this would work great for darker toned skin (not much darker I'm just pale).
