Good for Oily Skin
This stuff is alright if used on oily areas or areas prone to blackheads (which makes sense). If you have dry skin, stay away. If you have combination skin, only use on your problem areas. It is good at removing dirt out of the pores and a little goes a long way.
Amazing!
I have extremely oily skin and while in a lush shop, I picked up a small pot. This is the best face cleanser I have ever used. I use it at night to take off my make up before bed and it gets every last inch of my foundation off. If you enjoy this cleanser, try angels on bare skin. That is also good and made my skin feel soft and clean.
Okay
All of the products I use are prescribed to me by my dermatologist. When I bought this, I loved it. People said it was messy and was a nightmare to clean, but I thought it was easy to clean up. After a week, I noticed my face started to break out. I don't know if it was the cleanser or the combination of prescribed products and non-prescribed products. I haven't used the cleanser since.
My Best Choice!
This is the best product I have ever used. I have extremely oily skin that is mildly acne prone. As soon as I took the switch from Clean&Clear and Clearasil, this was so awesome. My skin no longer gets excess oil and even prevents the oil from forming. Also, it leaves a flawless matte finish which is a total plus! Great product. :)
Life Changer!
I bought this about a month ago and immediately I saw change within the first time I used it. But with the time that's passed, my face is smoother and clearer and it hasn't been this way in years! I looked specifically for a charcoal mask to absorb impurities and I found just that. I leave this on to dry before I rinse it off and I notice I don't have those tiny bumps from blocked pores on my nose and forehead and my makeup application looks flawless (: I definitely recommend this product to people who feel their skin is dull, have oily skin, sensitive and acne prone skin which is what I have. Please try!
Exfoliates well, good for oily skin
I have oily skin and therefore was looking for a cleanser that I could use 2-3 times a week to really exfoliate and cleanse. Dark Angels is great for those with oily skin, as it seems to draw out the oils in your face without leaving your skin super dehydrated. My skin feels refreshed after using Dark Angels, and it seems to be helping with my spots. I was a little worried that the charcoal would be hard to get off, but it washes right off with warm water.
I went to the nearest Lush store yesterday because I ran out of Ocean Salt Scrub but sadly, they are out of stock. So my Lush "lady" recommended this product as substitute for the Ocean Salt. So far, so good. It leaves my skin smooth and glowing, exfoliates, draws out oil the entire area and it is less abrasive than the Ocean Salt Scrub which I am using. You can also use this every other day as your gentle exfoliant!
it's ok
Makes my face feel nice and clean, but I haven't noticed any real difference in my skin. My biggest gripe is that it is incredibly difficult to wash off. I have to use a toner afterwards to get it to come off because it literally sticks to my face. Not worth the annoyance.
My Favoirte
i have combination skin and have a hard time finding a cleanser that doesn't make my skin too dry or still feel oily. After using Lush's Dark Angels my skin feels soft, smooth, and clean. Just make sure to use a washcloth to remove excess and toner otherwise you will have black marks left on your face.
