Everstrong Overnight Repair Treatment

this is the only "overnight repair treatment" i've ever used. so i can't compare it to anything. but it works great for me. i have long hair so i generally use 2-3 pumps. i always use it if my hair is slightly damp and i want to sleep in braids/twist. when i unravel them in the morning, i have smooth (no-frizz) curls/waves. the smell is awful in my opinion- i'm usually a fan of coconut, but this smells like straight up-natural coconut oil...it has a hint of fishy/saltiness??? but the good thing is, once it dries, you only smell the usual coconut fragrance. while i don't notice a "strengthening" in my strands, my hair is extremely soft and smooth after using this. it's like...puppy hair. idk, but i love the way it makes my hair feel. i've seen the prices range from $8-$12. but it lasts me a while so i think it's worth it.

I was very excited to try this product, it claims to do all great things for your damaged hair overnight. Since I really enjoyed products from this line I thought that I would give it a try; and I did find this at a discounted price. I have dry ends from all the damage that heat tools have given me. That was what I wanted to repair mainly. First of all I could not get over the smell! It's a very intense coconut sunscreen smell which is really not pleasant to have in your hair when you are sleeping. This product felt greesy and sticky when applying. I found that the only way that I could keep this product in my hair was to tie my hair up in the bun and then go to sleep. The next morning my hair looked really greesy and still had the horrible smell in it. There was not residue on my pillowcase though which was a plus side. After washing my hair I did feel like my hair was soft, but it didn't make a huge difference after my hair was dried. My ends were still dry looking (which was where I had concentrated this product when I was applying it). For me this wasn't a miracle product even after giving it more tries. I find that there are better products to help protect or repair your damaged hair. So save your money on this product and invest in the shampoos from this line.

Summary: Even if it's not a pleasure to put it in your hair, it will be one you will get up and see your beautiful hair in the morning.

BUT: Like all hair product you can't use it all your life, in my case I used it for 5 months before it became worthless... TOO BAD

Three days in to using this product and I can already feel the damage reversing. My hair, which felt and looked like pieces of dried out straw, is already transitioning into soft silky locks that I love. And the thick creamy texture absorbs pretty much instantly, so I don't have to worry about gross residue all over my pillow. If I'm this obsessed three days into using this miracle product, I can only imagine how I'm going to feel further down the road!
