Everpure Moisture Shampoo
Reviews
I love sulfate free shampoos, so I'll try anything that is sulfate free...but the smell of this shampoo is awful! When I wash my hair with it, I can still smell it after my hair is dry. It is a decent shampoo; nothing too amazing. And it isn't truly sulfate free, it does have some sulfates in it.
Decent
I dye my hair red, so I'm always on the hunt for the next best shampoo that will keep my color from fading longer. I picked up this shampoo because it's sulfate-free and it claims to be a "color-protecting" shampoo. I'm not too keen on the smell. It's not unpleasant by any means, but it's a minty smell, and I just can't get used to that when it comes to shampoo. Other than that, as far as what it does for my hair: it does make it very moisturized and soft. As far as keeping color, I would say it does a decent job. Not amazing, but definitely better than other color-protecting shampoos that I've tried. I did notice that my hair faded a little bit slower than it usually does.
not for me
I did not like this shampoo, or anything from the Everpure line. It left my scalp too itchy and my hair felt heavy. For someone with very (very very very) dry, curly hair, this MIGHT be a good option, but if you have normal, straight/wavy hair... this is a definite miss.
Perfect Vegan Option
I find most vegan shampoo's feel like they don't wash my hair completely but this product was like using a top of the line product. It is good for your hair and completely cruelty free! I would suggest you try it at least once and see what it can do for your locks :) and you will be helping to support vegan products which isn't a bad thing.
Surprisingly good!
I found a L'oreal EverPure "starter kit" on clearance about a year ago for like $3. It had shampoo, conditioner and another product from the line. Since it HAS been a while, I don't remember the smell being weird. I do remember that this product did wonder's for my hair. I had been using some nasty Suave product, and using this was like switching to salon product overnite! I think if you can get past the smell, this might be a nice alternative if you cannot afford salon product for your hair.
Eh, nothing special
I bought this shampoo (and conditioner) because I heard a guru on Youtube mention how much she liked it. I tried it out and hated the smell, for one. It smelled strange...I can't really describe it. It didn't do anything bad to my hair, but didn't do anything for it either. Not impressed.
Great for curly hair!
I have fine (lots of it though) curly hair and it has improved my hair soooo much! i also color it so this has kept my color looking good while working well on curls. After I use both the shampoo and conditioner I put on some serum, comb with a wide tooth comb and then reshape! perfect natural curls :)
This shampoo would be awesome if not for the smell. I love what it does to my hair but I don't want to feel like I'm rubbing herbs on my head. I'm sure some people don't mind but it really grosses me out. But I'll keep using it until I find another sulfate free shampoo in the same price range.
