Good brush for a VERY light dusting of highlighter
I saw this brush reviewed by an influencer and I was sold. If I looked at the brush more closely I would have realized the bristles of the brush are fine and very spaced apart. I think this brush is for someone who doesn’t like to put their fingers in the product, or want a VERY light dusting of highlighter. I think it’s a well-made brush, but it doesn’t pick up enough product for me.
Chunky, crystal flakes glittery highlighter finally met its match. Significantly reduces glitter migrations.
For the longest time I hated Natasha Denona Diamond Powder and Glow Extreme in all of her blush palettes (Darya, Citrus, the Glow Extreme in Bloom palette) because of the chunky crushed crystal formula that migrate the moment my face gives any expressions like a normal, non-Juvederm/Botox-ed person. This brush enables me to finally use it and ensure fewer glitter chunks migrations.
Its airy and fluffy at the tip and gets denser the closer the bristles are to the ferule. If I wanted to deposit huge amount of product for that extra Bam! disco ball effect I simply swipe it in area closer to the ferule and then buff out the extra chunks out with the tip of the bristles. If I wanted just a sheer glisten crystalline highlighting effect, I would use the tip of the bristles to swipe in sidewinder snake motion into my products and buff it into my face in either figure 8 motion or circular motions.
When I first received this I was apprehensive that the bristles will fall off after a few washes because it looks kinda flimsy but I was proven wrong. With proper cleaning procedure for natural brushes and proper drying position, this brush maintain its shape and did not bend in weird ways. Though I caution that I store this brush in a separate container away from other brushes for fear of ruining the bristles because its really airy and soft.
