Kiehl's 'Rare Earth' Deep Pore Daily Cleanser

I was in need of a cleanser while overseas, and I already knew that clay/mineral cleansers worked well for me, so I picked this up without thinking twice, and I really liked it! It wasn't some miracle product that made my acne disappear or anything, but it really helped in keeping the breakouts under control and evening out my skin texture. It really cleans out your pores however, make sure you follow up with a good moisturiser! It's become my staple now, started using it at the beginning of this year and I'm on my second bottle now, love it!

This is takes all the grime and grease off your face and is really handy if you live a big polluted city. I don't use it in the winter months as it would dry out my skin but it's perfect for summer!

This is basically a mask, light exfoliant, makeup remover, and daily cleanser in one. Especially during hot/humid seasons, traveling, wearing makeup, having more acne than usual, this stuff is amazing at de-clogging my pores. I normally use my mild Obagi Clenziderm acne cleanser with my Clarisonic (think Sonicare toothbrush for your face), but lately it hasn't been getting the job done. I got a bunch of the Rare Earth products from Kielhs, and they are all fantastic at getting the gunk out of my pores. What I love is that my skin is left with a lovely matte finish. It scrubs everything out quickly and effectively, but gentle enough that I can use while wearing my contacts. Plus, it doesn't dry out my skin like acne washes do. And there's something about the smell and clay-like consistency that I like...

Additional recommendations: 1) Follow up with the Rare Earth moisturizer. Your face will be soooo matte (best suited for normal to oily skin, or just in the t-zone if you have dry skin). 2) Use the Rare Earth Mask about once a week, or just the day of a special event, date, or anything you want flawless pores for. It makes your face taught and your complexion even!
