Seems to be good for nails but changes color.
My toenails are getting dry and also now have white spots. I was terrified I was getting some sort of fungus, but searches show it's merely dry and likely from the chemo I'm on continuously. Still, we cancer patients want to look good too, so I find products like this that can help me look healthy and cared for while also solving a problem.
So if my nails need air, why not try breathable polish? Don't want them to suffocate.
The color I picked was beautiful but darkened considerably after it dried. It was still pretty so didn't bother me, but is something to note. It got darker still as days went buy.
Coverage is good, and is easy to apply. No problems with the brush. It lasted as long on my toes as any other polish.
And here's where it gets good-the white spots started to disappear. They seem to be gone now, and I did nothing different but use this polish. It isn't even the only one I used-I did go back for a color switch to OPI from time to time. But I kept this as my main polish a few months.
I confess-I'm not really a believer in the magic some cosmetics say they can achieve. I don't know that breathable polish solved my problem or if it would have happened anyway. I don't know if there is a chemical in polishes that my nails don't like, or if a soap affected me, or any number of things. But I also see no reason to not keep a bottle around and use it from time to time.
My main concern is the color change but it's minor and as long as you aren't doing an exact match for something, and you are not intense about colors, it should be fine.
I didn't use it on fingers much, as my fingernails are very soft and brittle from my treatment and nothing lasts more than a few hours. Fortunately, the white spot issue was strictly toes.
Great colors, a bit prone to bubbles
Because I'd never used this type of polish before, I picked up the base coat, top coat, and two colors: 655, a dark teal, and 644, a medium teal pearl.
I found the colors true to their online representation. Unlike another comment, I didn't find the color shifted after application.
Unfortunately, I did my mani in poor lighting and failed to notice a few small bubbles, so I'd suggest being a bit more careful with application than I was. I didn't shake the polish, so that was not the source.
One thing I did notice was that the creme color (656) was relatively flat, even for a cream. (I don't mean matte, I mean it didn't seem like the color had depth.)
I love the colors I got, and I'm sure I'll wear them pretty often. I used two medium coats and got great coverage.
Healthier nails and great color
I stumbled upon INGLOT accidentally online, but im SO glad i did! I wear nailpolish so much more often now. The smell when putting on the nail polish isnt as strong, but the color is just as good! It does chip easier though, but is worth the healthy nails!
Love, love, love
Inglot does not disappoint. I love the shades of their polish and the smoothness of the application. This soft gray intensifies as you apply coats, going from an almost pastel to a gunmetal gray. It wears well and I have gotten several compliments on the shade as well as how much longer my nails look. I feel like I am an Inglot woman from the gel eye liner ( I have 7 colors), to the breathable nail enamel. I also purchased the blue which is perfect with denim. Keep it up and I will keep purchasing!
Very nice
I have had this polish on for 4 days and I only have one chip due to the nail breaking. The color is a shimmery pastel pink and it is good for me to wear for work as a nurse. I hope washing my hands will not ruin it. I recommend these polishes for anyone. I just ordered a few more colors.
