I have super oily skin in my tzone and this is the only one that works for me!Im a NC25-30 and I use 2w2 Rattan (more yellow) or 2w1 Dawn (less yellow). I have really long days, 6 am to 9pm so I need my foundation to stay nice throughout 15 hours. This one does that. I do need to blot a couple times throughout the day though. The consistency is nice and I dont feel it on my skin. Its medium coverage but I use only a drop of it because I want a sheerer coverage. It can get cakey though. For me, it got cakey using a beautyblender and a flat foundation brush. But it applies like a dream with a buffing brush.
Natural semi matt full coverage
I bought this foundation cause many people have been talking about it, so I wanted to try it for myself.
My first thoughts were that the full coverage foundation like this would be heavy and quit hard to blend in and the formula would be thick. I was WRONG. It's super blendable, more kinda watery but not too watery. It's not heavy at all and not even thick. Love this foundation and it dries Sami matt which is lovely! :) love this foundation!
This is such a nice foundation. It lasts throughout my regular day-around 15 hours. I have the shade 2W2 which matches me pretty well when it oxidizes. It can get cakey fast, I've tried a Beauty Blender, a paddle foundation brush and the buffing brush from Real Techniques's Core Collection. Beauty Blender had a nice finish and wasn't as cakey as the paddle brush but 50/50 it got cakey. The RT brush blended out with a BB was AMAZING I haven't had a cakey morning in the two weeks I've started using the RT brush. I don't think this foundation is full coverage like a lot of people have said, and it was buildable for small spots. It has a matte finish but I prefer the look of the foundation a couple hours in, when the color is more true and pores aren't as noticeable. It's the strangest thing, for the first few hours this foundation sinks into your pores and looks dry but after 4 hours it looks nicely blended and it's not sunk into the pores anymore. I hate how it does sink into your pores but it's the only foundation that stays this long for me and will never break me out.
I have oily skin and am in my 40s so getting a flawless finish can be tricky. This is a product I highly recommend if you want full coverage and don't mind a heavier feel on your face. It truly stays in place and true to color all day, and does not settle into fine lines or exaggerate pores; a common issue with aging skin and foundations. Well worth the price, and this photo snapped in natural light shows the foundation set with loose powder after a 9 hour day. the shade used was 2W1 Dawn 53.
Worth every penny!
I have porcelain, very oily skin. I have struggled to find a foundation that matched my skin while also standing up to my oil. This product does both! Although I was afraid to spend that much on a foundation, which I tend to go through quickly. I am very happy with this purchase and will be repurchasing it once my bottle runs out. However, I don't think that will be soon because a sample of it lasted me a week.
Best foundation for us oily girls
This is seriously my holy grail foundation. I have extremely oily skin that I usually would have to blot my face 2-3 hours after make up application. I find using this with Smashbox primer helps control my oil and keeps me matte for HOURS. The coverage is medium to full coverage and it is SUPER easy to blend out. Works great with a sponge or a brush. For a more flawless look I like using a sponge. Does not transfer so it's great. Feels like on the skin unlike the Revlon Colorstay (which can feel super cakey after a few hours).
Amazing!
So impressed with the long lasting power of this foundation! Does not budge one bit once it's on. Does not need a setting powder and looks flawless, definitely a full coverage foundation but doesn't feel like it, I have very oily skin but I also don't like a matte finish and wow this stuff is just amazing you have to try it for yourself(:
