Awesome Cream Shadow for only $3!
I was curious to see if this would work out for me or not. IT DID. :) Once the eyeshadow dries on your eyelids, it has excellent staying power and doesn't crease! It would be even less likely to smudge if it had a primer underneath. I would recommend topping this with a powder eyeshadow for a more pigmented look, but I have found myself wearing it alone. The shade I have is Eggplant but there are lots of other pretty shades! I am also a fan of the e.l.f. studio line's cream blush and cream eyeliner. Granted, these products have crazy bulky packaging but it's not that bad of a con, haha. Overall, I love this product!
Love
I have this in candle light and natural glow. I love candle light as a brow and inner corner highlight. Natural glow has to be my favorite though its just the prettiest gold and looks great as an all over lid color. The only issue I had with this product is that even with primer it tends to crease just a little bit. I still love it though.
Best Cream Shadow
Pigmentation is superb, staying power is even better. I love using this as a base and as a quick lid color when I'm on a go. Only problem is the packaging is a bit bulky. Full review at http://amberlikes.blogspot.com/2011/12/elf-studio-cream-eyeshadow-swatches.html
Might be good for smoky eyes?
I got this thinking that it could be a good all-day shadow. The only problem was that I missed the "ultra pigmented" part. I got a gray color, and it is too dark, even when applied lightly. In another color it might be ok, but I'm not sure. I used my finger to apply, and that might be part of the problem. Huge container for $3
love it
this cream shadow, is really good, i hav the one in candellight and i use it under my shadows and as a highlight aswell, its doesnt have chuncky glitter witch i like, the only con is the packaging, its so big, but overall its a good product and for only $3 i belive its worth it hope this helps -cjsmakeup-
Good depending on the use.
I have this in two colors, a pearly white and a pale pearly brown. I've used the white in the inner corner and on my brow bone and it's been great. I used the brown all over my lid, and even with a powder eyeshadow on top it creased a little. So I guess it depends on what you want!
