Studio 144-Piece Ultimate Eyeshadow Palette

For my Makeup clients it's hard to find the perfect colour. I'm a new independent makeup artist and i was thinking of buying the MAC eyeshadow palette. I couldn't find it in any of my beauty stores but instead i found the elf one. The shadows are highly pigmented. These shadows last all day with a PRIMER. They usually last 8 hours without primer. The colours are amazing but some have a chalky, ashy kind of texture but they are still usable. I will be repurchasing this product once it's finished.

I went ahead and got this palette, because when I did my e.l.f. haul online I was able to get it free for spending so much money on the rest of the order. I do enjoy a lot of the colours in it. There are a few shades that I would normally stay away from, but I am still willing to use a good majority of the colours in the palette. I recommended this palette to my friend when she started wearing more eyeshadow, because she wasn't sure what colours would look good on her. I don't have too many problems with the eye shadow fading away or wearing off AS LONG AS I use my eye primer. If I don't use primer, I don't expect the shadow to last too terribly long. But for colour choices and price (it's only about $15 for 144 colours), I give it a 3.5 out of 5.

Out of the 144 shadows, I had to depot around 30, because I had it in my makeup kit, and the colors looked so similar, I always messed up when I saw it come out chalky, so I just threw all the non pigmented ones all together. I do however, like the other shadows. The matte ones are a bit powdery, but I love using them for natural smokey eyes. The shimmer ones have a lot of pigmentation, as long as I use it with a primer, it's all good:)

I LOVE this palette! My eyeshadow stays on and in place ALL day even with the most dramatic looks I've done and gotten plenty compliments on as well. Some are kind of pigmented while others are very matt. Some work GREAT as a powder to set conceal under eyes and red areas and it has almost all the colors a beauty junkie like me would love to play around with! It is only 15$ thank the universe and I would probably sell this for maybe 25-30 so I recommend it totally!

While these are not the most pigmented eyeshadows on the planet they work well with primer and can be used for any occasion. The color selection is great and there are quite a few shimmers offered alongside the matte colors. There are also some rare/hard to find colors such as red. I am very pleased with my purchase, and will continue to recommend E.L.F. to my friends and family. :)

this palette is worth so much more than $15! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this palette. I am the kind of person who is very picky about eye shadow. this is an amazing product at an unbelievable price!
