These shadows blend so effortlessly (you could easily just apply with your fingers) and are nicely pigmented--they definitely give the look of cream shadows. They are so beautifully glowy and would look amazing on tan or dark skin tones! To amp up the metallic intensity, you can pat them over a colored base.

I wouldn't say "intense payoff," but pretty darn good. The trio I have came in metallic red, gold, and green, which work beautifully together and really do shimmer like velvet. I feel like I did experience some fading, however, even when used with a primer.
